This hotel is really decent. I went there for one night, for a reasonable price($ 100). The room in itself is ok, spacious, clean and modern/functional bathroom. Everything you need(water, coffee, tea, shower products, rope). View was pretty good too, and some rooms have a patio. The hotel has a restaurant and a bar, a pool and a hot tube(outside tho). Really nice lobby. Staff at the front was really helpful and nice. We asked if we could leave after the requested hour and they nicely said yes. Parking is not free — As in most every places in Whistler. Location is pretty good. I had a good time, and would choose that Hotel again if I go back in Whistler.

We got an INCREDIBLE deal for this place on and definitely took advantage of it. I was pleased with everything about this hotel. The front desk staff were EXTREMELY friendly and helpful. Every time we requested something(e.g., a spoon, a bottle opener, etc.), they sent it straight to our room within 5 – 10 minutes. The location is absolutely perfect. You can walk to a ski lift easily within 5 minutes. It is also surrounded by restaurants, which we definitely took advantage of. We also got a discount card for several of the places near our hotel, which was great. Our room was a decent size with two full beds. The bathroom was clearly updated and had a giant soaking tub, which was perfect after skiing all day. Some helpful hints: 1. Do NOT pay for parking here. It is $ 22 per day. You can park about 5 – 10 minutes away per day for $ 10, which we thought was totally worth it. 2. You can’t store your skis or snowboard in your room, BUT they have a free valet. If the valet isn’t open, just make sure your skis or snowboard is tagged and place it near the front desk. 3. The keys are pretty tricky. Sometimes it takes a few times to get your room to open or the elevator to work. 4. Lift tickets are cheapest if you book ahead of time(3 days out)…or if you qualify for an edge card(e.g., Washington State resident). It is also worth looking into Crystal’s package deals, which include a lift ticket. 5. Bring a swimsuit! They have a hot tub and heated pool on site. Overall, a great stay. We will most definitely be back.

I roomed with a buddy at Whistler. I’ve never stayed here, but he suggested we book a room at Crystal Lodge. Crystal Lodge is certainly central. It’s located in the heart of Whistler. Everything in the village is walkable from Crystal Lodge. The room we got was pretty good. It’s basic accommodations. Nothing fancy. Reasonable prices for clean and basic rooms. I would say our room was pretty big. 700 square feet. Not too bad for hotel room. It had a sitting area and a desk(darn I wish I took a picture), and 2 queen beds. We were not in the room too much. The point of a golf trip is to golf not to sit in a hotel room, so for the price it was a pretty good deal. My only complaint with Crystal Lodge is that we had a coupon… basically, the coupon was from a coupon book we got… the coupon says 3rd Night for Free. We stayed 3 nights. I approached the front desk and spoke to the manager and she read the fine print to me… based on 80% occupancy she said… cuz the hotel is more than 80% full… the coupon does not apply. The day manager was very amiable and I don’t fault her for following the rules. Sorry but here’s my suggestion if you want to put fine print proviso like that on your coupons please don’t coupon! I don’t read the fine print on coupons. In this busy world we all live in who does? The whole thing just left a bad taste in my mouth. It’s not the money as much the principle involved. I told my friend there must be a hundred hotels to choose from in the Whistler area. I won’t be choosing Crystal Lodge again!

Perfect location the heart of the Whistler Village! The staff is very friendly and attentive. We stayed in a luxury king with the fireplace and Jacuzzi tab. This is definitely the hotel that we would come back to when visiting Whistler!

Highly recommend AGAINST staying here if you want to sleep. 23.55 and it’s as if I’m physically in a club, the persistent music won’t stop, I’ve been advised that it goes on until 1pm! It’s not even good music, just a constant LOUDDRONE. Utterly ridiculous. I just want to sleep, after all that’s what I paid for, a bed to sleep in.

I had a very pleasant stay at the Lodge during the Whistler Film Festival in early Dec. 2014. I stayed in a luxury King Studio and really enjoyed it. My room was very clean and pleasantly appointed with a new flatscreen and kitchenette. It was nice to have a fridge, real dishes and cutlery and microwave at my disposal for those meals that I didn’t want to eat out. The King sized bed was extremely comfortable. The jacuzzi tub bubbled pleasantly and had great water pressure. The blackout curtains the suite were fantastic and kept the room extremely dark(I’m a light sleeper and really appreciated that). One note is that my room was close to the stairs that lead to the village and in the mornings I could hear booted feet clumping up and down the stairs. Not a big deal, but people very sensitive to room noise might want to request a rom farther away from the main traffic areas. The hotel has two sides, with the lodge side being more upscale and updated. The hotel is located right in the village, and easy walk to everywhere. I would stay there again.

Placed in a closet by the name of room 112. The very tiny window, down the long narrow hallway of a room, overlooked a large patio(or roof) that consumed all sunlight — if I could see it tonight I would be able to identify it. If you’re in the mood for a «meh, this works» type room, prepare to have your lacklustre emotions met. I just hope you sleep well through the night because the bed has only one direction it can face, against a wall that acoustically magnifies all sounds in the hallway. There’s a good possibility that the swishing sound of gore-tex pants will lull you to sleep, but don’t get too comfortable. The sound of sex from your neighbours will soon have you rolling around with a pillow folded from ear to ear. My tip. Pay the extra for an upgraded room if they mention«you’re in room 112». Don’t allow this room be rented out, it needs to be brought back to its designation as a broom closet.

Chose this hotel for location. Steps away from village shops, restaurants & gondola ride to the summit. Starbuck’s is conveniently located inside the hotel lobby & Spaghetti Factory right outside the door. Construction going on in hotel during our stay. If you want to sleep in, better to ask for a room away from the noise. Room was on the smaller side, but comfy & clean.

For Whistler, this place is great. So far, it’s my favorite lodge we’ve stayed in. So many of the lodges look nice from the outside, but they are outdated and not so nice once you reach the rooms. This place is an exception. The niceness of the outside and the lobby drift straight into the rooms as well. It felt like we were staying in a nice hotel, not just a stinky ski lodge. Friendly staff. Great views. Spacious rooms. Great location that’s fairly close to the gondolas. Parking is somewhat hard to find so go in and ask first before searching for it.

My boyfriend totally nailed it by booking this hotel for our October weekend in Whistler. The location is right n the heart of the village, a short walk to shops, activities and any type of restaurant that you could possibly want. Our room was beautiful with views of the mountains, plush robes and a ridiculously comfortable bed. The staff at The Crystal was awesome and arranged activities for us, giving us great suggestions that made our trip perfect. There are only two minor complaints. First, the B
