This place is everything it was advertised on the website and the photos/amenities are accurate. Theres a creperie boulangerie next to the building which is perfect for breakfast. True ski in, ski out lodge … About 2 min walk to the gondola. You cant bring ur skis or snowboard up to the unit but there are lockers on the hallway to store them. The lockers are kinda small ao we kept our gear in the car. Car parking is included when u check in and is located underneath the street level. Since this place is right smack in the middle of the village, all the restaurants, bars, and dance clubs are around the corner when you step outside. Theres a govt owned liquor store called BC liquor in the village too that sells all kinds of cheap to fancy poison. Currency converter is across from this building and the atm is abt a 5 minute walk away. I give this place a gold star for location and convenience. In terms of amenities, place is super clean and modern. Our unit had three floors. First floor had a lounge room with kitchen. Sofa turns into a bed in the living room + Dvd player + cable tv + free wifi and kitchen is full sized with a gas oven-stove, microwave, basic saucepans and soup pots, glassware, dishwashing stuff, etc. 2nd floor has a king sized bed with its own tub style washroom and a 2nd cable equipped tv next to a balcony with a view. Since the building isnt too high and unless ur unit is facing the cobblestoned village walk there isnt much view. U wont be looking out into gorgeous snow capped mountains but rather just looking at the structure next door. 3rd floor is a loft with two single beds. Oh and there also a fire place on the first floor of the unit. No washer or dryers but thats okay. Money wise it cost 600 canadian for a 3 night stay. We couldnt stay for the third night so the manager Nate said its no problem and he will hold the unused night for us as credit for next time. The other thing is we asked for a second parking spot and they graciously told us to call back in the morning when other guests check out so that we can have their spot for free. Hows hat for customer service? The only confusing part id say was that the check in office was actually, not at the same whistlerview building itself. We found it next to the Pinnacle hotel also inside the village. Ask around people in Beautiful British Columbia are really friendly and helpful!
