Best. Damn. Meal. & Best. Bang. For your(Canadian) dollar. Only open for dinner and late night dining, it’s a shame I couldn’t eat here for every meal. Unpretentious, Three Below is hidden next to the cinemas. It’s a come as you are restaurant that serves mouth watering dishes alongside your pint of beer. The food felt home cooked– fresh, not heavy, and as healthy as you could be drizzled in BBQ sauce. Essentially, come here for a hearty meal that will not put you in a coma and will leave you with plenty of room for beer. I will hands down come back next time! Try the aptly named«fall off the bone» BBQ Pork Ribs, picture worthy Cajun chicken burger, any of their fresh salads, and the juicy lamb shank!

Unexpected and undersold, Three Below saved me and three friends from having to brave the winter cold to find a place that was playing the game. The previous sports bar we checked was full to the gills, but this place was fairly uncrowded. The bartender was friendly and more than willing to change the channel to the Canuck’s game. We ordered the buttermilk battered fried chicken sandwich, bacon-wrapped meatloaf, and short rib poutine; all well-presented and delicious. The music was pretty darn good too. Negatives? The stools at the bar were really uncomfortable, and the smell of buttered popcorn from the movie theatre next door was kind of strange to have around all the time. That said, pretty highly recommended.

Food was completely forgettable. My wife had the meatloaf which was nothing special. My burger had a weird texture I haven’t encountered before. Service was fine. Loud music from the 90’s played the whole time we were there. Has a definite bar atmosphere rather than restaurant.

We had a decent enough meal here, but I cannot get past the horrible stench of over-used grease that permeates the place. I guess that being below ground doesn’t help. The odor was so bad, that the clothes we were wearing, and even our hair smelled badly after arriving at our hotel later in the evening. Nestled in the corner of a game room, don’t come looking for ambiance here. But if you want a quick, casual bite, this might fit the bill. The fettucini alfredo with chicken, the mac and cheese, and the brushetta, were all good.

This place is a total hidden gem! Cheap drinks obviously always a win but the food is surprisingly great. All the salads are wonderful as is the brie appetizer. Usually great service if you don’t mind the strange entrance of Whistler’s old run down movie theater. Highly recommended!

I usually don’t post reviews, but this place deserves a 5-star one! The bacon-wrapped meatloaf is one of the best dishes I’ve ever had, anywhere!!! There was only one server, taking care of the bar and all tables, and she handled it like a champ, I got great and friendly service, paired with a great meal. If you’re in Whistler Village, this would be my #1 recommendation(when I travel, I like going to different places every day, to try different things, but this one will be repeated)!

AWESOME! Had the specialty burger and added jalapenoes, it was really good(so were the fries) and my boyfriend loved his hot wings and bacon wrapped meatloaf. I had some good draft beer there to enjoy with my burger as well :) WARNING: this place is kind of hidden, it’s hard to find because it’s in the movie theater building downstairs and the sign is sort of small.

This place is amazing. Is downstairs the cinema, a small but cute place! The food is really good. We recommend the pulled pork fajitas with guac & the beef lasagna. For appetizers we recommend the bruschettas as well. Highly recommend!

Fantastic service, made us feel very welcome and relaxed straight away. Massive portions, we had the ribs and classic burger with a side of garlic mash. Also had a spinach salad and pulled pork starter. It was all cooked with amazing flavours but even though priding ourselves in being good waters we could not finish our meals. Great prices and lovely waitress plus great food did it for us!

Decent place… Server was ok, nothing special… However the chili was AMAZING. The entrance is the same one for the movie theater and kinda hidden. I’d come here again(for the chili anyway ;)

You must try the apple bramble cocktail! This little bar and restaurant is the perfect hideaway right in the middle of the village. It’s locally owned, and the bar staff are world class.

Very disappointing place. We came here for a bite and drinks and I wouldn’t return. There are too many other wonderful places in Whistler to enjoy. Around 8 of us came in and ordered a few appies, desserts, coffees and beers. The service was mediocre and the food was too. There weren’t many people in here(no kidding) and it’s in a basement near the cinema, which made it fairly dingey and uninspiring. Go elsewhere.

A group of us came here for coffees/desserts and the place was totally dead. Husband ordered the seasonal howe sound which was grapefruit ale(hello, summer beer in the dead of winter) and it was bottled. Sent it back and got something else as that is totally not in season and not even on tap. Two in our group ordered entrée’s and the mac and cheese was good, but the poutine gravy was so sweet they couldn’t finish the dish. The banana dessert rolls were interesting, three at our table ordered them and one came 15 minutes later than everyone elses dishes and the dough was raw and gross.(chocolate wasn’t really melted either!) thumbs down. Mediocre. Walk two doors either way in the village and you will come across something better than this place.

Good: -$ 10 Burger, Fries, and beer deal after 10pm. Good burger. Bad: –Our group of 12 came in after 10pm to an EMPTY restaurant. We had already been drinking and eating at another place and wanted to continue the party. Not everybody was going to order food. We were told by the waitress that in an empty restaurant after 10pm, we still needed 80% to order food in order to sit in the«restaurant» section. SERIOUSLY, ITWASANEMPTYRESTAURANT. Because of this stupid rule, we were all cramped into the bar section. Stupid management rules cost them as we would have returned every night if it wasn’t for the idiotic seating arrangements for an empty restaurant.

The good: Location in the Main Street next to the whistler resorts and hotels. The bad: Poor service, not that tasty food. What I tried: The BBQ chicken wings, the baked Brie, and poutine. It was my first time trying the famous Canadian poutine, I didn’t have high expectations for this dish but I don’t think that this restaurant served it good.

Located below the Cinemas, it does smell like popcorn as you enter but don’t let that fool you! Total surprise, we’ve been visiting Whistler every year for 3 years now and had this place recommended by a hotel valet.. .(which can be 50⁄50 at best.) It was delicious! Veggie Pot pie left me wanting more. Ribs were fall off the bone good. Butter Chicken was a homemade recipe from the woman that works there. And the Waffles for dessert were an awesome combo of what I think was waffle mix/white cake batter! Delicious! We walked in 2 minutes after they opened(3pm) and we’re pleasantly surprised, after a week in the village this was the diamond in the rough. I’ll be back!

Huge portions. Good value for Whistler. Not wanting to get hosed, we ended up here. In the basement next to the movie theater, it’s pretty chill. In true Whistler fashion, the friendly staff had accents. I had the chicken quesadilla but also sampled their lasagna(massive piece). Though the food won’t win any chef awards, it’ll get you stuffed for a reasonable price and more than likely leave you leftovers. I didn’t drink, but they had good deals.
