Stopped here for a coffee on our way from Whistler to Vancouver. And although I throughly enjoyed the joe, I was disappointed that there wasn’t a drive thru(there were quite a few customers and having a drive-thru would have expedited their coming and going), and the service was just average … Having said this, the service was nonetheless VERY fast, hence the 4th star. Prices were about average for a vacation town, and the donuts were sweet and fattening(as they should be).

I’ve never been to a Tim Horton’s despite going to Canada pretty much every year since birth. When I saw that this location was open at Whistler; I decided we would stop by there on the way out of town. It’s not really ‘in’ the Village unless you’re staying on the outskirts of the Village so a little inconvenient. It’s in a mini strip mall by itself currently since it’s new. The line was out to the door when we stopped in(no drive thru) and I thought«Wow this place must be super popular!» Turns out that you stand in one line to order/pay then you have to go back to where you were the front of the line to then get into a SECOND line to wait for your order. The sitting space is one table and then 3 or 4 outside on a ‘patio’. So the lobby to order/wait is non-existent and I’m glad we left the stroller outside or else we wouldn’t have gotten through. I ordered the bacon biscuit thinking it would be decent but a few bites into it; I kept tasting onion for some reason despite NOT having onions on it. Seemed like some food contamination which is always uneasy to think about when you paid $ 4 for a sandwich.

I guess this is Canada’s version of Starbucks. Good selection of drinks and pastries, but pretty limited in terms of space. This location is convenient to the highway and just before Whistler resort area. Not too fast.
