Love, love, love West Coast Float!!! I float on a regular basis at home and when I am on vacation. West Coast Float is hands down my favorite place to float. The staff is so nice and accommodating. The ambiance is so peaceful. I highly recommend giving them a try!

Awesome new experience. I went in with an open mind and became quite relaxed. I didn’t experience lost time as some do, just supremely relaxed. Initially I could only hear my breathing, but once I turned the light off all I could hear was my heart. I’m excited to try another float here in the states. Would absolutely recommend a float to anyone who wants deep relaxation.

Excellent experience. The first float is not as good as the ones after it… why? for me I was actually a bit afraid of the experience, worried about the salty water, scared of the dark and being alone in the tank, and just the unknown… WELL, let me RELAX your fears and help you realize it is SAFE and RELAXING and good for you! I am always unable to relax my mind as it thinks all the time… I was actually able to slow down my mind while floating and I was able to think of other things I usually don’t spend time on… the bath water is warm and the air around you is warm. The privacy of each room and the cleanliness is fantastic. I felt at ease to remove all my cloths and shower and crawl in without any worry. Make sure your ear plugs are in tight before ever stepping into the pre soak shower and do not remove them until after the post soak shower. I also used the neck pillow off and on… it just helps ya relax a bit more! My hands and arms were able to take many positions and I was able to move freely during the soak. I tried it both morning and night(on different days of course) and I like the later night float as afterwords I just wanted to rest and sleep. My neck muscles that are always tight causing me headaches are relaxed and I have no headache. My ankles seem looser and less restricted. Overall it is a very beneficial experience. The employees are also very comforting and helpful!!! Try it at least 2 times as the first time does not allow you the real relaxing experience because it is new to your mind and body and you will just not relax like you do after your first float!!! I recommend you book soon as you will be hooked!!! What clarity it provides!!! :)

This was such a great way to add so much to our Whistler experience. It was such a restorative experience that left me feeling mellow and energized beyond anything I have ever done. The space is beautiful and clean. I can’t wait to come back and do this again. I was tired upon arrival and the combination of the Epsom salts, and hearing and seeing nothing did so much for my body(I felt super relaxed and healthy) and I felt super awake mentally. The feeling carried through the whole weekend. I will be back.

It was one of the most mind bending experiences ever! I got in giggling because I had no idea what was about to happen. The lid closed and sealed me in the dark. You float on top of the water in silence and dark. My mind was questioning everything. Is this right? Should my arms go here or here? How long have I been in here? And so many more random questions. I laid there, focused on my breathing. Sometimes I felt like I was spinning full around like I was in outer space. Some fear hit me at one point, doubting if I could do it. Almost feeling a bit claustrophobic, but I toughed through it. I felt conscious the entire time. My mind was still going and then all of a sudden!!! The light to let you know you have two minutes left, turns on. 90 minutes gone, just like that. «Really???» «Already!!!» I got out and hopped in the shower, confused, and mind blown. How was that 90 minutes?!? I felt great and relaxed, but totally shocked at how fast it went by. I’m going to sign up to a place in Vancouver. The more times you do it, the less you question things and actually experience the good side to it. I think everyone needs to try it out, at least a few times. It’s one of those things that is so weird in the beginning that you won’t fully experience the true benefits because your mind is questioning everything. I loved it. I’ve never been so mind blown ever.

My family of four took our first floats on Christmas Day, and it was a great experience! Louise was knowledgeable and friendly, and she explained everything that we needed to know. The facility is very clean, secure, and comfortable. We really enjoyed the float, and we had fun sharing our experiences together. We will make floating at West Coast Floats a part of every vacation to Whistler!

Loved my first float at WCF! Amazing staff, and overall awesome new experience. I could tell my body was unraveling and pushing though old traumas while I breathed and relaxed in stillness. It’s hard to tell where the water starts and stops as it’s body temperature which gives you a true sense of floating and weightlessness. A must try for anyone! And don’t worry, the 90 minutes actually flies by. I thought it had only been an hour when my time was up.

Friendly staff and owners that are passionate about floating. I was amazed by the décor and how clean it was! I was greeted by Louise Who educated me about floating. And so my journey begin floating in their pods. Showered first thoroughly and then went in with earplugs. I laid in the pods for 90 minutes fell asleep a couple of times and seen a shooting star at one point of the float. The water is filtered and there are lots of Epsom salts too make you float. At the end of my float all my aches and pain were gone! Wow! As I used there spa like facility much similar to the Château and Four seasons spa. however the tile work is much better then the Four Seasons spa tile work! I have been to both places. This facility is amazing and state of the art! I can see why elite athletes use this place! Everything is new in the building! It’s worth a new experience that will keep you floating!

There’s a buzz around Whistler about West Coast Float so I thought I’d check it out — and I’m glad I did! Owners Bob & Louise told me that there is no right or wrong way to float, so I stepped into the pod with no expectations and after 90 min of serenity I stepped out feeling rejuvenated, with a clear mind. It’s hard for me to explain my amazing floating experience, so all I can say is «Go Float»…how often do we take 90min for ourselves? Probably never — so this is your opportunity to do and you won’t be sorry you did!

Sliding into the warm water and watching the pod lid slowly close filled me with suspense as to what this experience was going to be about… I’d been prewarned by the helpful owners Bob & Louise that everyone has a different float experience. Well mine was amazingly relaxing and physically therapeutic. My old bones and joints felt suspended by the water. The warmth flowing into the joints, stretching and relieving the constant throbbing pain I usually feel. 90 mins flew by and when the lid finally rose at the end I felt calm and soothed in a way that something like a massage can’t do. Floating — whatever your experience — is highly recommended.

So my verdict on West Coast Float — must try. Think the relaxation of the scandinave, but without the cold feet and pruny fingers. That’s right no pruny fingers. It was clean, calm, and professional. The pod room was really warm and very private. You have full control of the pod, which is like your own personal spaceship. The water was body temperature, so I couldn’t tell which parts of my body were in the water and which parts were out of the water. Just weightlessness. Walking through the village before my float — stress, people, slush. After, I felt like I just walked slower and took more calculated steps. Any mom must try this — the peacefulness is something you won’t find anywhere else. 5 stars!

I have been searching for a place to float in BC for years now. How exciting that this just opened up right here in Whistler. I enjoy floating because it’s an affordable wellness service that has a plethora of health benefits. Plus, it’s a safe haven to retreat to when you want to just chill out by yourself completely undisturbed. The icing on the cake is that West Coast Float is professionally run by locals, it’s extremely clean and it’s in a great location(with a healthy food place around the corner for a nurturing snack after the float). Todays experience was wonderful and i will go back!

We walked by a couple of times and then thought to check it out and see what it was all about. The owners, Louise and Bob are those cool kinds of people that you’d love as a neighbor friends and you can tell that this is a business that is more about their customers wellness than anything else. Thoughtful, ultra-hygienic, clear, and super therapeutic! Super glad we did it and can see how the whole floating thing can be addictive! They have only been open 10 days and already they were all the buzz and filling up. Waiting area had everyone from a local birthday girl to a snowboarder who was competing later that night.

Thank you, West Coast Float, for a singularly remarkable experience. It was everything the brochure promised and more — I don’t even have words for it, but the«no body» feel was sublime. My only regret is that I could not stay in for longer, but I will definitely return before I leave Whistler. :D! (It is «pricey» but I felt my money was very well spent and it was definitely worth it.)
