Better food than a large regional mall deserves. Eclectic multi-ethnic menu. Soup of the day was red pepper bisque which was extremely delicious. I also had a plate of pot stickers which were still crunchy even though sitting in a spicy sauce.

While in Windsor visiting relatives, we decided on Labour Day to hit Moxies at Devonshire Mall as my niece raves about their ribs. Considering it was a holiday and the mall was open, the restaurant was fairly quiet. When we arrived, there was no hostess at the reception desk so we wandering in looking for someone. A person arrived a few moments later and seated us at a fairly large raised table in the bar area. Our server was over within a few minutes and we ordered drinks. When she returned, we ordered our food. My niece ordered the full rack of ribs($ 28). She’s a huge fan of them and went on and on about how they fall off the bone, are meaty, etc. She polished off the full rack herself and she’s this skinny waif of a person. She had a baked potato and salad as her sides. My brother and his wife shared a full rack of ribs. They had fries and a salad as their sides as well. They didn’t comment on the food but every time I looked down their way they were eating… so it must have been good. A fourth person had a ½ rack of ribs, with twice baked potato and Caesar salad. He said the ribs were not as good as Baton Rouge and that the Caesar salad was«dreadful». He didn’t hate his meal(he said the ribs were good but not the best he’s had at a restaurant) but was a bit disappointed. I ordered the Beef Vindaloo… it was excellent. Came with curry naan bread(or so the menu said… it wasn’t naan bread but pita wedges… there’s a big difference) which was good. My dish was aromatic, flavorful and had just the right heat to it. I was very happy. Only one of us ordered dessert(it was the aforementioned niece). She ordered the white chocolate brownie… and I think she had it devoured before the waitress turned to leave the table. It is a bit on the expensive side, but our waitress was excellent, food good(mine was great) and ambiance hip. I’ll return when in Windsor again.

This moxie’s atmosphere is very chic and modern. My only beef is the service was a bit slow however very friendly. Also the patio is directly beside the bus terminal which we found very loud, so we moved inside. mango chicken: –it’s not battered and the sauce is tasty but not overpowering the meal. It came with some healthy veggies and coucous. Very delicious. Definitely worth getting. Chipotle chicken quasedila: — really delicious meal. It came with a side of nachos and Salsa which was spicy and tasty in addition to a salad. There were yummy red beets or turnip in the quasedila. This meal was very filling and very good but I think i prefer the mango chicken. Slushi gt: — frosty lime in a gin and tonic yes please! This drink will except your expectations Slushi mojito: — although not on the menu, the waitress got it made for me and boy I think i invented a new drink! Slushi lime in a delicious refreshing minty mojito. I actually prefer this over the gt slushi

So I ate at movies while I was in Windsor and I was dissatisfied with the bang for your buck. The waitresses we’re basically just eye candy, they seemed very unhappy with their job and not very interested. The food was mediocre at best and not very satisfying. I had the chicken Alfredo and the pasta was undercooked. However unlike the food the presentation was simple yet elegant. Unfortunately however the portion size of not only the protein but also the dish as a whole was very small considering the price. So overall I left disappointed with the meal I had just eaten.

Probably the worst service I have ever had at a restaurant. I’m a typically friendly and polite person. I don’t know what their deal is but all of the waitresses seem to forget about you.

It’s been years since I’ve been here. I use to come for the banana chango dessert. Not sure if it’s still on the menu, but if it is you gotta try it. Our server was great. She was really polite and was always on top of things… checking up on us, refilling our drinks. As for our food, it was delicious. It was only two of us… so we shared 2 apps and 1 entrée. Supposedly the entrée we ordered was the spiciest dish on their menu, even though we both thought it was mild. It was a beef curry type dish. The meat was so tender and the dish was really flavorful.

I used to eat a Moxies quite a bit with my girlfriends, but haven’t been there in a few years. My boyfriend and I were going to grab something quick at the food court, but I convinced him to go to Moxies. We were there at about 3:30pm on a weekday afternoon. We should have left after waiting 5 minutes for someone to acknowledge us. There were maybe 5 tables full at the time, and a couple of people in the bar area. The menu has changed since I was there last. It is much smaller. Our food was Ok, just OK. Nothing to write home about. My boyfriend liked his steak, but his baked potato looked gross. He said it tasted OK, but it was not appealing one bit. I have no complaints about my meal, it was pretty tasty. The only thing I did not like was the ceasar salad, it just didn’t taste right. The food was OK, but it wasn’t that great of an experience. Very sad, because as I said«I used to love going to Moxies».

Like Moxie’s everywhere, there’s a lot of nice eye candy: hot waitresses in little black dresses. The food, alas, it dull and tasteless. You’re given a choice if you want to eat in the lounge or dining room. Do not choose the dining room. It has all the charm of eating in a Greyhound bus station. The lounge is quite nice. Dark. Mirrors. Women in LDBs.

Came with my brother and ordered burger with broccoli and cheese soup, the soup was actually cold I was so disgusted. The prices are way out of hand. Not to mention we didn’t have 1 waiter but 4, no one wanted to take care of our table.

I came here on June 14th with my mother because we wanted to eat somewhere close to the mall before we shopped. And now we know to not come back. It was our first time there and I’ve heard things like Moxies is overpriced and whatnot. But I also did hear the food is good too. Anyway, so there we are waiting at the counter to be seated for about 10 minutes. I thought it might be busy, I wasn’t sure. So we get seated by a girl who looks like she hates her job and while this is going on I look around and it’s not busy at all. My mother and I browse the menu and I wasn’t very impressed. There’s a big selection but just not my type, I suppose. For appetizers, we had one order of the crab & scallop cakes. Oh my god. They were awful. They were fried too long so you could smell how burnt it was. The stuffing inside wasn’t great at all. It was dry and it was set upon a sauce that was just disgusting. We paid in the double digits(maybe 13 – 16? I forget the exact price) for this and it was only two pieces that were the size of a slider patty. Next, our meals. My mother had the mustard and dill salmon and she wasn’t particularly fond of it. She ate it all because she doesn’t waste food. She said the salmon was dry and the sauce wasn’t very good with it. I had the Mediterranean shrimp & crab linguine. It was actually good but there was too much pesto and it was overpowering. I was thinking somebody would ask«Would you like some noodles with your sauce?» It was accompanied by garlic bread and it was good. But it’s very hard to make bad garlic bread. Yes, this place is overpriced for the food they serve. I really doubt I’ll come here again.

Favourite place to go for steak. The med bread appetizer is great too… And you get more bread refills until your dips are done.
