Came here with some friends while visiting Windsor for Christmas holidays. Decided to try it based on a friends recommendation. Interior was clean and nice. Service was friendly. Food wise… I was expecting a full Vietnamese restaurant, but their selection was pretty slim. They didn’t have tripe on their phở list, and their rice dishes only had choice of meat and egg really(no shredded pork, or steamed egg quiche). They were missing most of the standard toppings for all their Viet dishes. Because of this I opted to try their Thai red curry instead(even though I was craving Viet food). It was good, but more spicy than most red curries I’ve had at other restaurants. Worst part… Found a hair in my food :(

First time on campus in years! The memories all flowing back. I got a phở special. It was okay. Price per portion wasn’t what i typically get in GTA. The portions for other things were okay. The wife got a curry dish and it was fair. Location & convenience 5⁄5. Right on campus and very convenient for students. Price 3⁄5 portion was little for the price. I got a large. Their xl is like 9 bucks.(They have S L XL) Food 4⁄5 Customer service 4.5÷5 Venue 4.5÷5

Out of all the Other Vietnamese restaurants in the Windsor area phở Saigon is at the bottom in regards to taste. Staff is good, pricing is fair. It’s hard for me to eat here knowing that tow other Vietnamese restaurants on the same street will provide me with much better food for the same proce

My friend did not recommend this place to me because it was overpriced and the quality of food wasn’t that great. I decided to see for myself and I actually like this place! It’s more of a 3.8÷5 but I’ll round up. I decided to have their tom yum goong and veggie pad thai(peanuts on the side). Their tom yum came in a reasonable size and was almost filling. Their veggie pad thai was actually delicious! I liked the flavour and because I had the soup, I had to pack half my meal to go which I thoroughly enjoyed later. I do agree with my friend that this place is a bit pricier for the amount they give you but the food quality is great.

Saigon house has a solid menu, decent appetizers and drink, and a courteous staff. However, the pad thai was lacking: not enough vegetables and tofu. Would come again, but would try something else.

I give honest and straight-forward reviews and I was a little skeptical about the authenticity of this restaurant from the name«Saigon House». A typical name of a phở restaurant would be a vietnamese name, numbers, etc. Décor was nice inside. We were given the option to pick our own seats which was also nice. Menu selection was fine(bonus: relative to portion size, prices are cheaper as well). I ordered a typical phở dish. Great portions! Which is very good. Taste was great, broth smelled & tasted great. Their iced/hot coffee was excellent too. The first time I was here I ordered a vermicelli(bun) dish, but I wasn’t fan of their nuoc mam sauce. I would give this restaurant 5 stars, but the one problem I had was the parking(–1 star). No private parking for customers. For students at the university who don’t want to walk far to xic-lo, this is a GREAT alternative.

This brand-new restaurant hit all the right notes: great décor, charming service, reasonable prices, and large portions. Oh, I forgot to mention… DELICIOUS! We’ll be back again, and again.

The mountain of Pad Thai I had was quite tasty! With much more chicken than most places, I was full after only eating half of it. The place itself was super clean and had the coolest ceiling light fixture. I will be back soon.
