I’ve been here twice. Once for take-out, and another sitting down. Both times were awful, and I would never go back. When I was working downtown my co-worker and I ordered lunch and I went to pick it up. She ordered the quesadilla with a side of nachos and salsa, I ordered the nachos with beef. I was told to come in 20 mins, and did. When I arrived, the place was empty, so it wasn’t busy at all. I then waited for another 10 mins while he made the quesadilla. That was unacceptable in my opinion. There’s no reason why both dishes could not have been completed at the same time so I didn’t have to wait there while my food was getting cold. I got back to the office and of course my nachos had started to cool. All that was on them was cheese sauce, some hot peppers and the beef. The beef was actually quite good. I thought it was going to be ground beef, but it was nice, tender pieces of steak. I was not happy with the fact that I did not get sour cream and guacamole with my nachos, despite it saying on the menu that it came with it! ! The second time I went, I ate in with a friend. Again, the place was dead, we were the only ones there. We ordered nachos to start. Boy did it take forever for them to be brought out. In fact, the waiter got his meal and sat at the bar and was sitting down eating when the chef brought out the nachos. When the nachos came out I was surprised that they were different than the nacho chips that I had ordered to go the last time. It was clearly just a basket of no-name nacho chips that you can buy at any grocery store. The cheese sauce, if you can even call it that, looked like watered down orange paint. There was a faint hint of cheese when you dipped the nachos in it. Again, we had to ask for sour cream and guacamole, despite the menu saying it came with the nachos. I ordered a burrito for my main. Our waiter eventually finished his meal and went back into the kitchen and brought out our food. I was insulted when the waiter asked me if I knew how to eat a burrito and explained how I eat it with my hands. Excuse me? First of all, I didn’t realize there was one way you could eat a burrito. Second of all, are you saying that if I wanted to eat it with a knife and fork I wouldn’t be allowed to? That aside, the burrito itself was quite tasty, and definitely filling. Unfortunately that’s not enough to save this place in my books. I would not come back to eat. I am intrigued about the free Latin dancing lessons though.
