Tequila Bob’s

Cold and burnt food, rude staff, lots of fighting. I have never really seen anything that bad in a while. Been twice and it was one of the worst bars down town each time.

The food was terrible! They serve popcorn instead of chips and salsa and the popcorn was cold and stale. I ordered a grilled steak quesadilla with cheese only and they put iceberg lettuce and tomato on it. There were three tiny strips of very tough steak on each piece. It was supposed to come with rice AND beans but it came out with no beans. When I asked about it, I was told they were out of beans. The rice was so undercooked it crunched. We are visiting the area and had walked by Several times but noticed that Wednesday is «Wacky Wednesday» and tacos are $ 1 so we decide to wait and go on a Wednesday. When we asked how to order the $ 1 tacos we were told that special is no longer available even though it painted on the outside of the building. Don’t waste your time or money here, it’s not worth it!

So my girlfriend bent over outside to fix her shoe and one of the bouncers, (slim guy with glasses) says «nice view!», to me. Which prompted me to ask him to repeat what he just said. He realized his mistake and decided to go towards the other bar to the left, which left my girlfriend feeling abused and wronged. Honestly this is not how you run a bar. Apparently their cliental means nothing to them.

Came here to check it out seeing as I moved away from Windsor and was curious to this new downtown addition. Drink and food specials are great! Fries were delicious and hit the spot late at night. We only got to hang out downstairs and didn’t get to stay long but it got pretty busy as Saturday night wore on and upstairs dancing sounded fun. May come back next time I’m in town.
