Very nice spot for coffee and conversation… Easy to miss as to poor signage, this Windsor classic coffee house has moved across the street and closer to the river. A smaller but adequate patio… Very friendly staff and cool Art for sale on the walls provide nice atmosphere.

So cute! And the coffee was delicious! They have the best tartes! Good place to go for a good environment to people watch. One dislike was in assuming a homeless man came in and kept asking for change he made his way all around the café before the baristas came and shoo’d him away. But other than that staff is super friendly and help make a good choice! I would totally recommend it!

A nice coffee house trying to be trendy, but feels more like a hangout for a dedicated local crowd. Deserts look like quality(commercially made?) food, but I shied away from anything sweet today. A couple in our party tried some of their cakes and liked them. Coffee assortment is limited, albeit more than most places around(a dozen or so bean types). The same can be said for those loose tea assortment(which is always appreciated by myself). In short, a nice hole in the wall local coffee shop, but not a travel destination!

This coffee shop has a nice, clean, hipster vibe going for it, which I very much did enjoy. Unfortunately though, the service we received from the middle-aged female server was absolutely disgusting. Right off the start she was unpleasant and uninviting when ordering our beverages. Then we proceed to the patio lounge to relax, and there we find an extra chair at our table so naturally my buddy places a foot up on it. We were stunned 20 minutes later when that same server barges through the door and rudely exclaims, «Take your foot of the chair! You can do that shit at home, but not in public! We just bought these chairs new, not for you to destroy them. And oh yeah, we close at 11.» Then proceeds back into the shop. There was never any reason for this, and neither of us understood what had just happened… We still brought our cups and plates back inside before leaving.

The only decent coffee place on Ouellette(I don’t like Starbucks). The coffee is not great. In fact the coffee is subpar. Windsor doesn’t really know quality anything unfortunately. They just done as proven by the terrible restaurants they brag about only to go and be served Costco like frozen entrees. Any the Coffee exchange has a very nice atmosphere. Great renos. The people are nice. They don’t know much about coffee. I bought coffee there once and asked them to grind it for a mocha pot … they didn’t know what a mocha pot is. The coffee is bitter anyway and I find grocery store Lavazza to be better. Oh well … at least its a decent spot to visit once and awhile. Free internet that never works well. Deserts are not good. Had cake their once that was like a Walmart bakery taste. Didn’t expect that. Again this is Windsor. They like things big and that’s it. As long as you give em lots it doesn’t matter how it tastes, they just want lots. You will notice in reviews they always bring up portions. Bottom line is if you are downtown Windsor its a decent spot to people watch. Its this or Starbucks. Have to give them credit for running a nice clean business in bar infested downtown Windsor.

A nice, quiet, comfortable place to enjoy some coffee. I sat down and had a really good espresso, read a book, and people watched for a little while. A lot of people were coming in and out, and there seemed to a few tables of regulars hanging out and having conversation. A little pricey, but worth it, I think. I kind of like the dark colors inside — it’s very relaxing and mellowing. Small local shops are always the best IMO

I actually really dig this place I enjoy the atmosphere and the coffee is really good. Though the morning staff can be sassy above all Christine, she is the most rude person I have met since I live in Windsor, she looks so frustated. It would be great if she learns to smile to customers, it’s just another part of her job. Anyway the coffee it’s great!

I actually really dig this place.(Shhhhh I’m a Starbucks boy!) It has a really unique vibe and you can enjoy your coffee concoction surrounded by exposed brick, original art, and of course, unique Windsor downtown characters. Though the staff can be a bit precious at times, the coffee is good, the food is usually perfectly fresh and the prices are amazingly low. Don’t tell the Seattle folks if you see me there.

Stop to use restroom — stayed for espresso Loved the color décor — kept my mind busy with the multi colored daisies, Chinese lanterns and abstract-ish art(some of which would look great on the walls at my place in AZ). Yummy espresso — kinda overwhelming menu for first time. I would consider popping by again and enjoying a cup of joe on the patio — although the peeps on the patio(it was cold) would be sneered at by hipsters for other reasons than drinking expensive coffee.

Ahh the Coffee Exchange … the number one place in Windsor to go to have expensive coffee while hipsters sneer at you. Located in the heat of Tim Hortons Land the coffee exchange provides an alternative to the normal double-double from Tim’s which so many seem to love. The venue itself is fairly comfortable, and most of the staff are polite enough to you. The coffee can be a little pricey if you are one of those in Tim Horton’s Nation but at the same time it’s still better than Starbucks coffee. The music that they play in the background is decent often. I have been to this place a few times, some of my friends in college spent a great amount of time here hanging out, drinking coffee and stuff.
