Probably the best burger in Windsor !! Food it’s cooked perfectly and lots of different choices, also the best drunk food anyone can get after a good night of partying. Friendly service and they don’t cheap out on fries and condiments. This place deserves a 5 star review hands down.

I ate at the techumseh location… best burger ive ever had… a bit pricey but for the food you get and the taste… its well worth it… belly buster food… hits the spot. staff were friendly… the time it took to order and get the food was pretty quick. Awsome staff and great food… what more can you ask for.

Decent enough late night burger joint. Not as greasy as much inebriated self was hoping for(shocking I know), but stout patties, cheesy goodness, fresh cut LTO, pickles, and ketchup and mustard quashed my typical morning after head cramps. In comparison to others, I’d say they line up alongside Wendy’s Burgers. Original poutine with gravy and cheese curds married exceptionally well with my double gut buster. Crowd was sketchy with the 2 o’clock bar rush, but I think more folks were on there way to sweet dreams as opposed to pick pockets and beer muscles. Perfectly placed late night grease station, worthy of stumbling return visits.

The burgers are delicious, price is reasonable, and the servers are very friendly. What else could you ask for? I will be back for more.

I saw the reviews and I think I must have ordered the wrong burgers. I have been to many Burger places in the states, like In-N-out, Five guys, Red Robin and Whataburger. I don’t think this is my one of my favors. All I can say is their burgers are kind of «Rustic», not a lot of fillings. The fries are closer to those from in-N-out, made in store from potato rather than frozen. The store is not big and the décor is very basic. If you look for homemade burgers than this is a place for you.

Not a burger person but these are just so fresh! Love the hand cut fries and today visited their new location on Tecumseh and Central and my spouse had the Montréal poutine. They made it with dill curds OMG this was amazing! We will be back for burgers and poutine again. Told they also have a cheddar curds, can’t wait to try. If they continue to keep the prices reasonable they will be around for a long, long time.

Good value for your money and the burgers are delicious. Super simple concept and incredibly similar to Five Guys Burgers & Fries. Worth trying for lunch, dinner or a late night snack after the bar.

Found the food and burgers to be really good and excellent value for the price. Only had a few instances that when I got the food to g, in was soggy once I got home to eat it. Still a must try.

Stopped in for a couple late night burgers awhile back. I have been watching their commercials and it reminded me of Veras Burgers in Vancouver. Unfortunately once I saw the Windsor location for myself it really falls short of my expectations. The burgers themselves were OK, the buns were soggy after literally two minutes and the restaurant itself seemed like it needs a good cleaning, the whole place felt greasy to me. I cant see myself making a real effort to eat here again.

From the states, this gets my thumbs up. Large burger, love the folded bun part. Similar to Five Guys(if it isn’t, but Canadian version).

Absolutely loved this burger! Simon’s Prime seems to be just a bunch of guys(and gals) who are trying to give you heart disease with a smile. I fully embraced it because it tastes amazing. Listen here, if you’re on a diet, stay away from this place. Stop reading this review and type«salads» in the search box. This place is meant to serve up great tasting burgers in a place that is stuck in a retro kind of décor. Menu is simple and service is fast. I ordered up the Bacon Cheeseburger. The great thing about the place is that they offer many free toppings like grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, etc. My burger contained a fried egg, onions, mushrooms, bacon, fries, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and a coupon for a triple bypass surgery courtesy of Canadian healthcare.(The last one is made up… no coupon was given). The burgers are pretty thin so the best thing to do would be to stack them up. I was feeling like a bi**h that day and only got a single, but I ordered some bacon to reassure myself that I may still be a man. The burger tasted fantastic. The combination of toppings combined with that burger made me think only good things. I have never tried ecstasy in my life, but I imagine it would be something similiar to this. Overall, it’s a fantastic place for a burger in downtown Windsor. If I had to say anything bad, the fries weren’t that good. They were a bit soft and being that you’re already feeling pretty bad about eating the burger, I’d avoid the fries. Wonderful food, service, and menu.

I just ate at Simon’s for the first time. Wow! What an amazing, classic, traditional North American dining experience. The hamburgers are made to order, from 100% ground beef stored fresh, no frozen. The fresh cut fries are piled on if you order a combo(I think I had the equivalent of 3 potatoes) and the condiments/toppings are not only fresh but available in any combination you can dream of. For those looking to eat on the lighter side, expect giant Greek salads piled high with olives and feta. If you still want something different, check out the omnibus of a menu that scrolls over your head and provides remarkably innovative takes on the traditional burger.
The décor can only be described as «neo-retro» — lots of black and white checkerboard but with a twist — understated and subtle. It creates just the right 1950’s familiarity. The staff are not your happy, smiley, «please to serve you» platitude types. They’re nitty, they’re gritty. They know their stuff and take pride in their work. It wasn’t «hi, how are you today, how’s the weather?» it was and unspoken message of «we know are stuff, we know our burgers, serious eaters only please!» Impressive! The only«odd» thing about this place that I could find was that they had soccer playing on the television. That didn’t seem to fit the vibe of the place on the whole. Finally, I do have to mention the size of the fountain pop cups. They only had one size and I wasn’t overly impressed with it… perhaps refills are gratis though and I missed that sign… I’m not sure. It’s only been open a week or two but I am confident Simon’s is here to stay since the owner is a seasoned veteran restaurateur with another location in Chatham, ON that has become a staple of the community. Although you wouldn’t expect it from a «burger joint», It is both a welcome and much needed enhancement to the downtown arsenal of culinary choices. It’s the only one of it’s kind and it compliments other fine establishments in the area. Congrats to Simon’s on a fantastic job and a future of success in your new home located in downtown Windsor!
