One of the best Chinese restaurant in Windsor, if you like spicy foods. I like the noodles in their restaurant, they are very tasty and you can even ask to they to cook in your flavour. About the service, I hear some of the people complain about their service. In my opinion, their service are very good, maybe because I go there a lot. Yes, you may need to wait for a long time for your dishes during their busy time. But think about it, they are the family cooking style restaurant and they have only one cook, which is the owner of the restaurant. So if you have enough time, and you like traditional spicy Chinese food, this is the best restaurant in Windsor.

Terrible experience at this restaurant. I ordered chicken and fried noodles. But there is no chicken at all. I ordered fish flavored pork and vegetable fry. But there is no meat at all. All the meat or chicken was replaced by dried and fried tofu. I spent $ 60 here. But I would rather cook at home by myself. It will be million times better than this. I won’t go to this restaurant again.

Fairly authentic central-Chinese home-cooking-styled food with reasonable prices. The place is clean and comfortable, and the waitress is very friendly; the bathroom is all the way downstairs in the basement for those who may be looking for it.

I ordered to take out a delicious and huge portion of hot and sour soup, and an incredibly tasty Kung Pao Chicken. Love this place.

Great Authentic Chinese Szechuan dishes! Wonder Wok offers Chinese specialty dishes in Szechuan(Sichuan) cuisine. If you don’t know, it’s really spicy cuisine that deals heavily in garlic, chiles, and peppers. Wonder Wok is a good place for all, but especially for those who are a big fan of spicy food. The food here is real good, but the service is alright. They are generally nice, but the language barrier is real tough unless you know Mandarin Chinese. The menu is fairly large with lots of new items I haven’t seen elsewhere. The place is pretty small and it can be a bit hidden if it weren’t for the big sign hanging from their wall. I’ve had a bunch of things here and they’ve all been pretty good. For an appetizer, I’ve tried the Jellyfish in Chili which was incredible. The jellyfish was great but it was pretty spicy for me. The fish in hot chili is really good. The fish was really good, but there could have been a bit more. I really can’t stress enough how spicy it can be for some(for you others with candlewax for tongues, you guys’ll be fine). The fried lamb with cumin was real good, but I felt as though the cumin was very overpowering on an already gamey piece of meat. The lamb was tender though, and very tasty. The beef brisket with tomato sauce on rice is probably my favorite dish because it’s very mild, but very flavorful. The beef brisket is chinese beef brisket which is really flaky and fork tender. The tomato sauce was really good and all over rice, just incredible. Overall, a great place to try some Sichuan cuisine if you haven’t yet. There really isn’t any place i’ve been to around here that’s simiiar in menu items. For real Sichuan food(NOT the same as Szechuan chicken or beef at those Westernized Chinese places), give this place a try. Not expensive at all either.
