House of Pizza

Wow, so I’m surprised there is only one review since this place is really well known in the fort garry area! Before their management switched over, this place was our go-​to. The crust is a «cracker-​crust» full of air bubbles where the toppings don’t weigh it down, crackles when you bite into it, very thin, very crisp, very… cracker-​like! The topping selection is good (shrimp+feta, anyone?) and the sauce and dough are also veeeerrry good (sauce is a bit on the sweet side).
BUT– now we have different management. I live 10 min away from here, and on numerous occasions have gotten
a) the wrong order
b) wrong topping/​pizza combinations
c) my order «misplaced»
d) told that i called the wrong place and that’s why they didn’t make my pizza
e) told them i was paying cash and the driver «forgot» change (I tip my pizza delivery person, but 10 $ is a little excessive for driving 10 min down pembina…)
Can you say irritating? 3 times in a row they made the wrong pizza for us (we only ordered two 2 toppings…) then a 4^th time when my dad went in to pick it up they said «YOU NEVER CALLED’. So then he had to wait another 30 min there for the pizza, which they almost made us pay for.
SO, still 3 stars (only for food), and I recommend the pizza, but check your order when you get it!!!

We absolutely LOVE the pizza from here. Our fav is the manager’s special. Crust is kinda thinner then a normal hand tossed, and is a little flaky. Sounds weird, but is soooo good! Discovered this place with a coupon, and now it’s the only place we’ll order our Za from.

By far the best thin crust pizza in Winnipeg
