I was feeling very ill and went to this walk-in clinic. The clinic is small and has none of the luxuries of other clinics — no hand sanitizer or Kleenex for patients, etc. I arrived at the clinic when it opened at 4 p.m. I waited for over 40 minutes, knowing that the doctor was not even there as there was only one patient room and nobody was in it, and there was nobody in the office. I asked the receptionist where the doctor was and she told me he was«on his way». I mentioned that it was extremely unprofessional that he was an hour late to his clinic, and that if he cannot arrive on time, they should change their hours. She shrugged at me. I walked out. I figured the Unilocal reviews were just a few people with a bad experience, so I took my chances. Turns out, they were very right. Don’t come here.

Husband and wife that runs this place spent 25 mins in their office arguing with Rogers instead of helping patients waiting. When the waiting room started filling up my girlfriend was finally seen. Needless to say, the service is poor… but if you’re sick, well you gotta go right? The walk-in clinic on York/Queens Quay is wayyyy better if you can make it there!

The dr was over an hour late and came strolling in to a full waiting room, fast food wrappers in hand. He then sat in his office for another half hour– I assume to eat his hamburgers. When I finally got to see him he had food on his face, didn’t introduce himself or even get out of his chair. I found him a little rude and seemed to be tired or indifferent because he didn’t really seem to care when I was speaking with him. Anyway I had to get sent for blood work. The results were sent back to their office and I had to come in person to retrieve the results.(Which included me waiting another two hours for him to show up late again-so incredibly rude) This man has a lack of respect for your time is rude and has a dirty office.

The docs is pretty decent in comparison to other docs, wait times sometimes long, and the doc is late if you come at the time he’s supposed to be taking in patients. I’ve been seeing Dr Janjua for a few years now, although I hadn’t come back for a while since he yelled at me this one time(it was the day after I had my appendix removed, so to a point he was right to yell at me). Speaking of appendix, I went to another walk-in clinic when I was having rather sharp pains in my stomach where they sent me for blood & stool samples. I then went to Dr Janjua for a 2nd opinion and he suggested I go to a hospital after pushing my stomach with his finger and determining that it really hurt when letting go. I did end up having appendicitis, so he was right. He’s mostly rather nice and gives advice when he thinks that your root cause isn’t something that he can take care of by his direct means. He has however said that he would refer me to a specialist and then I never heard back from him. All-in-all, if you’re in need of a walk-in clinic, Dr Janjua is typically pretty decent.
