I haven’t actually ordered any food here, so my review is mostly for the ladies nights on Thursday. Probably my favorite ladies night in the city! They offer red and white wine, sangria(my favorite – strong with a hint of cinnamon) and beer. It gets pretty packed and is difficult to find a table, but there’s usually standing room by the bar and seating outside. The upstairs has a dance floor with a DJ and great music too! The waiters and bar tenders are super attentive, and refills are quick.

We were here meeting friends during the day so I can only comment on the lounge/café aspect of La Bodega… it’s bright, open, yet styled with dark woods and a jazzy feel. As you walk up the stairs there are pictures of women artistically drawn in various«come-hither» forms… the atmosphere is very laid back and has a sexy vibe going on… Although we hung out upstairs for a bit we eventually migrated to the seating outside once all of our friends appeared. We sat for hours, sipped our lattes, and enjoyed the hustle and bustle that is Bangsar. If we lived in Kuala Lumpur I would hang out here. The caffeine is delicious, and the atmosphere as good as it gets. This was my favorite spot of everywhere we went in Kuala Lumpur.

Recently had the opportunity to visit one of the more established spanish restaurants in Malaysia, La Bodega Lounge which is situated in the more happening part of Bangsar(along jalan Telawi), which is the same row with Antipodean, Yeast, KGB and so on. I have got admit that I am really impressed with the way they set up this place, it really gives you a cozy and plush feel. I recently came here for a casual meet up with a group of new found friends through a casual part time job that we signed up, I had a great time as I had the opportunity to get to make new friends. La Bodega Lounge has a really nice environment to hangout and while enjoying your favourite drinks. During my visit here, I managed to sample their awesome smoothies(Immunity Boost I think?) and their awesome margarita pizzas(I’m a big fan of pizzas by the way). In conclusion I had an awesome time here, and will I be visiting this place again? Absolutely YES!

This would be my first ever visit in La Bodega and what can I say? It’s A-MA-ZING!!! It’s actually a gathering meet-ups and this is definite a great spot to hang around. La Bodega is situated at Jalan Telawi in Bangsar and super easy to discovered. There have numerous branches around KL, the one that I love will definitely be here. For starter, their ambience are simply incredible, great music with classy and romantic interior design that allows anything to shine majestically. Oh did I mention there’s a lounge here as well, is spacious and well-modern decorated(also a bar) How cool is that? On to their food, their food are scrumptious especially their steaks, pizza and countless more, I could barely express how amazing is theirs. However, there’s a catch-their price. They charge insanely high– is crazy. Totally go nuts with their cost but then again, what do you expect from a fine dining isn’t it? To be honest, I would never come back anywhere in the near future but who knows isn’t it? Definitely worth the try though and you should come here, why? This is the ONLY, let me emphasize. ONLY branch that has a great longues. Enjoy dinning here.

La Bodega is a restaurant that serve Spanish cuisine. It was my first time hanging out at their lounge(at first floor). At first my friend was suggesting that we meet at La Bodega. But when I reach the restaurant, I didn’t see any of them around. I thought that I’ve been to the wrong La Bodega. Turns out that they are at the Lounge which is on the first floor. When I got there, there was no one other than my friends at the lounge. It feels as if we’ve booked the whole place. It was a nice place to hang out with a bunch of friends over foods. Their menu is so extensive I actually had trouble choosing what to drink. There’s fruit juice, tea, coffee, ice blended, canned drinks, smoothies, wine, liquor and cocktails here. Don’t even mention about their food menu. They have a wide selection of foods from Breakfast, Burgers, Sandwiches, Pastas, Soups & Salads, Tapas to Desserts. There’s even cigars in their menu. But we only had their pizzas to share. As for drinks, I decided to not have coffee today and try out their smoothie. I don’t regret having it as it was really awesome. Overall, we all had a great time over there. We even split into two teams for some card games. If that’s not enough, there’s a pool table around.

La Bodega’s lounge is really relaxing, it’s located on the second floor of the restaurant. It has a space for musicians to play music, mainly it’s the jazz genre. The ambience is really nice and dim. It gives off a pretty romantic vibe, they have a pretty good wine list with a good variety of white and red. La Bodega also has good spanish food. The tapas is amazing and the one of the highlights of the place is that the bread is refillable which is great. The bread goes so well with the tapas dishes. The musicians that plays on weekends here are all very talented and they would even bring in international acts if they want. The international acts would require a cover charge to enter but it is pretty worth it.

Anti-Valentine’s Day, ever heard of it? Me neither. I first got to know of the La Bodega Lounge when a friend of mine invited me(her only other«single» friend at the time) to a little party she heard of called the Anti-Valentines Day party. Appropriately dated on the 15th of February, we made our way to Telawi and we’re handed shots and horoscope sign stickers to let others know of our galactical orientation. Interesting story so far? Read on. The place was small, a bar to the left, a narrow walkway beside it, leading to a lounge with a few of sofa sets and dining tables. It was dimly lit(to get the occupants«in the mood» I guess) and smoky. We ordered our drinks and proceeded to sit at one of the high chairs at a counter against the wall. Instead of actively looking for a mate with the same star sign as me, my eyes darted almost instantly to the feature wall compromising of old black and white pictures of what I could only assume was old movie stars, I didn’t get a clear view because of the dim lighting. It kept me amused for a good 15 minutes. I would recommend this place for nice dinner dates and hangout sessions with family and friends, the place is warm and cozy and makes for an excellent hang out place.
