So I’ve always loved going to hidden bars and well now I’ve found a hidden café. Well, sort of. Located inside Millennium Square, I never would have known it was in there if I wasn’t told of the place beforehand. Good Golly Miss Molly a cosy little place serving mainly coffee and freshly made light sandwiches. I’ve yet to try the sandwiches but their Red Velvet Cake is one of the better ones I’ve had the pleasure of trying. I also ordered their Mocha which was a little too bitter for my taste but I guess it was just their style of making their coffee as it was not necessarily bad, just a little more bitter than I’m used to. Hopefully they expand their menu a little to include some other light food.

Good lord! What a name to remembered. Applause to the owner who manages to come out this kind of name for his/her business. I wonders the name of the owner must be Miss Molly. This place is not just popular of it’s name but also it’s coffee and desserts. A cup of Macchiato that rich with aroma and taste. Surely will kick you out of sleepy mood during the morning. The ambiance was truly fascinating. The wifi is fast. Just the perfect place for the hipsters to waste their time. Did I mention that it’s Red Velvet are great? You might wanna try it for yourself.

If you are around the PJ area, chances are you might know of this place called the Coffee Good Golly Miss Molly, a café that is keen on making people forget about their existence due to their exceedingly long name. I kid, I kid, but with its long name also comes with a long revered reputation of the place being extremely quiet and concocting a good cup of coffee. Due to my preference to a good cup of latte, I tried it on the day I am there and I am, of course, extremely impressed by the taste of it. Adding it with their assorted pastries and you are set for the day. The outside is more preferable to sit due to the ambience and the breeze. I will really recommend coffee lovers to go there and give yourself a shot at this fabulous place.

I had a good 2 hours to burn while waiting for my next appointment and decided to scout for a cozy coffee shop to work at. Gave my friend a call and he suggested this CGGMM. It’s all a blur to me but I got the needed directions. I walked around Millennium Square for a good fair bit before I stumble upon this shop. Good thing the square isn’t big at all. Upon seeing the shop, I get a good look at the name of the shop which is Coffee Good Golly Miss Molly. What an interesting name! There’s only about 6 puny tables inside and 2 more in the outdoor section plus some more that spilled into the square. The place can be easily packed because of the limited seating area. And with all the hot desk age of today. Everyone seems to be on their computer stuck to that table for hours before I’ve arrived. Speaking of which, I’ll be doing the same too. I got my flat white as usual. It tasted bland in my opinion. Such a pity as I would think this would be great getaway spot whenever I feel like working out of the office. If only the coffee is as interesting as the shop name. I’ll make sure I get the barista to tweak my flat white to my liking the next time I visit again!

Coffee Good Golly Miss Molly definitely stands out in Millennium Square. And facing Menara Jaya it is pretty hard to miss. Obviously it’s niche is coffee and it does a pretty decent job at it. The flat white I had was strong and creamy, just what you need just what you need when you’re slogging away on assignments or projects. Which brings me to an observation that this place seems quite popular with students. So at certain hours(after 3) this place can get pretty quiet with almost everyone consumed with studying or on their laptops. Bear in mind that the café is has very limited seating, so you might want to rethink bringing a big group of people here. I do like the vibe here; soft background music and warm light. And with plenty of electric plugs, the owners knew who their key patrons would be. I also shared a slice tiramisu cake but it is not really that impressive. I might even think they left it in the chiller a bit too long. However, if you’re a local PJ-sapien looking for a place to while the hours away, this might be it.

There are days when you feel like you want to be alone, sip on a cup of coffee and basically relax or read a book or two. This quaint little quiet coffee place gives you the opportunity to do so. There are some really noisy and packed coffee places but this place is where the chilling begins. On weekends, there usually aren’t so many people but the space is limited. Coffee Good Golly Miss Molly is definitely a tongue twisting café name to remember and to pronounce. However, with a name like that, it kinds of sticks in your head. If you love cosy cafes, this is definitely it. The coffee served was great at the right temperature. I ordered ice Mocha and it was thick and rich. There are also pastries available if you feel like munching. I ordered the chocolate pastry and it was really good so I ate 2 of it. Do also try out their available cakes! For those who opt to smoke, they can sit outside which is pretty comfortable and cosy too.

Just few days ago, I paid a visit to Coffee Good Golly Miss Molly at Millennium Square. When I first heard of the name, I was thinking to myself«Wow! Such a long name to remember!!». The café would be a little challenging to find as it is not located anywhere near the main road. Instead, you would have to head towards to carpark(if you are driving) and look up to your right to look out for the café. If you are coming from the famous Piccadilly Restaurant, take the escalator and walk towards your left — you’ll be able to see the café right at the end. It’s a small quiet café and they do not provide much seating, but if the weather is nice you can always take the outdoor seats to enjoy some fresh air while sipping on your cuppa. Joe had their cold brew but I thought it was too mild for my personal liking. However, I absolutely like my Latte a lot — milky and perfect temperature. You can always request for higher temperature if you like your coffee to be real hot. Overall, it’s a very nice place to chill with friends and ideal as a working space too — perfect for a weekend hang out place.
