This place offers a variety of ramen dishes and is also very affordable. It makes for a tasty and good quick and easy meal, especially if you’re in a hurry! Although the ramen overall is tasty, I found that there was too little meat in my bowl and the soup base alone was a bit too salty for my liking. I asked for an extra egg too which they forgot about until I reminded them about it. My boyfriend really enjoyed his char siew ramen meal though and was happily slurping everything down! The staff are friendly and attentive although they have a tendency to forget orders and requests so that needs to be worked on — other than that, parking is a pain in SS2 so do keep that in mind if deciding to make the trip. Otherwise, enjoy :-)

Came here to meet up with a friend for a quick dinner before heading to coffee. Ikuzo ramen located next to Mcdonald serves ramen at a cheaper price range. You can get a bowl of char siu ramen for rm 9.80, the char siu piece are quite big. You can even add extra eggs or tempura for extra charge as well. Though the ramen lacks the taste and the soup is very blend. Char siu was okay, but the whole bowl didn’t satisfied my hunger. I guess I’m really paying for what I’m getting. And not many people come here. I guess over time they know that they need real ramen taste. But if you think about, if you can get one bowl of ramen for rm10, you can get another and it’ll be the same as the ramen you eat outside! But yeah, the taste is another matter ofcourse. Here it is good for a quick meal, and save alot of money and if you’re not very fussy on the taste then just come here and try it out.

Ikuzo Ramen has been operating in SS2 for more than 2 years now, and I’ve only been there less than 5 times. The restaurant is located next to McD at SS2, so it’s quite easy to find it. The shop is very cosy and the staffs were very friendly. We browsed through the menu and noticed they have quite a selections of food, despite being a ramen restaurant. Ikuzo Ramen claims not to use any MSG, soup concentrate or artificial seasonings in their dishes, and they believe in using fresh and healthy ingredients. There are many eateries who made that claim but ended up was a big disappointment. Between the Cold Cha Soba and Yakiniku Ramen, I chose the latter. The ramen was topped with grilled marinated beef slices, yellow onions, kimchi and spring onions. The broth was not too bad and did not get over-powered by the kimchi. The beef slices were flavourful but I would prefer the beef to be more tender. The service at Ikuzo Ramen was fast and the pricing was reasonable. This is a good place to have a quick lunch. Apart from ramen, they have rice selections on the menu too.

Back to my college time, I always get myself a chance to have a meal at Ikuzo ramen with my classmates, we all enjoy our food because they are not expensive, rm7.90 something to get a bowl of ramen, but I prefer having kimchi ramen because it spice up everything and it taste so good, and also their onsen tamago(boiled eggs that boiled by onsen) is always my favorite :) HIGHLIGHTRECOMMENDFOR A QUICKMEAL :) although is very hard to look for a car parking. :\

The last visit I went to Ikuzo Ramen. There wasn’t many customers, It’s pretty quiet at that time– a great place to chill and hanging out with friends. However, they were once a Japanese store, 100 yen that sells incredible ice flakes. Yum! As I glance through the menu and their signature recommended their signature ramen– Yakiniku Ramen. A distinctive marinated grilled beef with slices of kimchi and soup base. So I thought of giving it a try. The ramen may look simple and unattractive but however as for your very first bite. It would be heaven. They are pretty scrummy — but their soup wasn’t that good, too watery but the beef however are extremely delicious! The staffs were very friendly during our visits and the food was spectacular. Although they might not the best Japanese Ramen that I had in town but it’s definitely something worth trying and remember!

Cheap ramen for sale! This is what it imprints in all of our minds when we saw this little restaurant passing by. Price range for each ramen here is around RM10++. They also have this principle of no MSG in the food they serve. Frankly speaking the ramen they sell here wasn’t actually cheap if you decided to go for heavier ingredients. But I do think that the price is still considered reasonable for us. This placed is designed in a Japanese revolutionary pop art concept. You can see all sorts of pop art poster all across their wall, which we actually quite enjoyed looking at all these crazy«Ramen Revolutionary» artworks while waiting for our orders. We ordered Kimchi ramen with beef, & pork ramen for its signature dish. I personally preferred the heavier taste of spicy ramen with beef compared with the pork ramen. It is not too spicy as Japanese food normally don’t go very spicy, but its soup is tasty enough to fill my crave for ramen.
