Wow, the restaurant is amazing here. One of the last stops towards Ensenada. Had escargots and onion soup for my girlfriend as we had eaten all day, still managed to make room for this incredible food. Very rustic but trendy atmosphere. Will definitely return.

While lost in Baja, we were grouchy and hot, but stumbled upon an oasis — Alximia. The burger and kale salad were amazing, the staff incredibly friendly. Gorgeous building and views of the vineyard

The architecture is odd but the wine and views make up for it. Beautiful grounds and fairly priced tastings for AMAZING wines! Definitely will be back! :-)

We Visit date: 2÷27÷2015 We stopped by this winery to eat and had one of the best stakes I’ve eaten in a long time. We sat overlooking the valley, very nice view. However, the building from the road looks like it’s still under construction — don’t let that fool you, it’s fully operational. We ordered the Charcuterie and Cheese Plate as a starter and it was delicious and well served with enough bites for several people. We also order other appetizers. The Chef came to our table and introduced himself and gave us Stingray Tostadas to try… they were excellent and we ordered more. Most of us ordered the Filet, covered with a delicious peppercorn and vegetable marinade, one person ordered the pork that was so tender you didn’t need a knife, while another one ordered delicious crepes. All the meals were served in large portions, my stake must have been 14 oz — plenty of great food! The red blend wine was also very good. In all, 7 people ate(4 Filets, 1 Crapes, I pork, 1 Duck), appetizers and drank and the bill came up to $ 190US Dollars. An amazing meal with great service, well worth the cost!

«Very Different, Unusual, Strange, But Nice ! « My wife and I visited the AlXimi Vino Elemental winery in the Guadalupe wine country of Mexico last weekend. It was our first visit to the winery and it was a very pleasurable experience. First of all the winery building itself is «Out of this World». It looks like it is from outer space, and does not look like any other winery we have ever been too. The Architecture is breath taking. Inside the winery everyone stands and looks up and says«Wow» ! Their wines are good but are a little pricey. The Director General and Wine maker Alvaro Alvarez Parrilla was very nice as he told me the history of the winery and why they built it the way they did. They have a great out door BBQ restaurant area with a view of the vineyards. AlXimia winery is a must see if you are going to the Guadalupe Valley. I know you will enjoy the Architecture, the Wine, and the over all experience !
