Vinícola Tres Mujeres

The wine here is excellent they only have a very small section, but what they do have is really good I ended up buying a bottle of the 2012 la mezcla mestiza .at 20 bucks a bottle that’s a steal. they also have the outdoors restaurant dining experience that we did not know about. This is run by a lady chef that’s well know for her culinary experience in the area and she owned one of the most successful upscale restaurants in Ensenada. She traded in her apron for a more wholesome natural outdoor dining experience. We will be back to partake in some of her offerings soon, since it’s a seasonal operating Cocina. That tends to run from April till October. Can’t wait to return here to dine and some more or that delicious wine.

We had a great tasting here. Their reds were incredible. We wanted to buy many bottles but be warned that this is one of the only cash only wineries we visited in the Valle. I hope this review makes up for our unfortunate lack of cash… sorry!
The grounds are beautiful and located at the end of one of the nicest winery offshoots from rt 3 in the Valle. The woman giving the tasting was heavily involved in the wine making process and it shows in her passion for the product.
Bring cash and enjoy this beautiful spot in the world. They also have a restaurant on Saturdays and sundays… looked wonderful but did not partake.

Visiting this small winery was one of the most magical memories I have. Their wine cellar was literally dug out of a small hillside and the bottles were all unlabeled. When I bought a couple of bottles and the cactus skeleton gift box to store them in, one of the tres mujeres, a beautiful dark-​haired señorita in her 40s, hand wrote the labels on the bottles with a sharpie. I asked her for a card, and she had me follow her to the small house where I suppose the tres mujeres lived. As she opened the door to go in to grab a card, the fragrances of home cooked Mexican food and the sounds of classical music escaped. Had I been single, I would have proposed on the spot.
