The arrachera tacos delicious! Cooked at the right temperature, just juicy! Margaritas are good and service was excellent!

My wife and I thought the fish taco and steak taco were delicious. Ask for Ricardo — he was an excellent host. While many other restaurants in the mall were empty, this one was very busy — a good sign. On the water by the lagoon too. This will definitely be added to our«go-to» list in Cancun.

This is the only choice for Mexican cuisine in a plaza that was very Americanized. I love the Mayan soup. It was really tasty and loved the hints of lime. The tacos were nothing special. I thought the little taco shop near my place was waaaaaaay better. Anyway, my husband’s lobster taco was good(according to him since couldn’t try it because I am allergic and sick at the time). He also loved the shrimp tacos. Piña colada was superb. Too expensive though.

Taco Grill is one of our favorites. We always watch the little lady toasting the tortillas by the window. It’s a fun outdoor setting that we always enjoy. The tacos are awesome!

Cute Mexican place overlooking the Lagoon. My party of 4(including me) were browsing the area for a casual place to eat dinner, and then we stumbled across this cute open air restaurant. We all ordered chicken tacos. The beers and the bottled waters were cold. The tacos were pretty tasty, although the tortillas seemed bigger than what you get in the US. One of the servers gave us a platter of salsas, and to my surprise, the guacamole part of the salsa was the spiciest, and what looked like the spiciest salsa actually was the mildest of the salsas. The servers do speak English, but I spoke fluent Spanish the whole time I was in Cancun. Needless to say, I won their hearts. Overall a pretty good Mexican restaurant.

I’ve given up on finding authentic Mexican tacos here. Cancun is very westernized, and all the food is dumbed down for tourists. The tacos here are ok, and view is great. My son enjoyed eating the limes. The service was friendly, but I would not come back.

My husband and I just wanted something casual with a good view. This checked both boxes. Taco Grill is on the pier at the back of Isla Mall. You get your standard platter of salsa with every order. My husband and I both had the fajitas. This place is geared more to a Tex-Mex style of food than authentic Mexican. Beers were cold and the food was fine. The price was a little more than I would normally spend in the states, but pretty standard for the area. I think our total meal came to about 50 dollars. Overall, nothing special but nothing bad.

A bit spendy for Mexico, but a good bargain in the hotel zone. Tasty Mexican food, obviously geared toward tourists, but nevertheless tasty. I had the veggie burrito for $ 130pesos, around $ 10us. It was delicious. Re fried beans. Mix s veggies and a fresh selection of salsas to adorn the tortilla.
