Knotty

I like Knotty a lot! The service here is great! If you slide a $ 20 to one of the workers, you will not lift a finger the whole time you are there. I was there with some heavy drinkers and smokers and they never picked up a menu or lite their own cigarettes. The drinks are super cheap, so giving a guy a 20 was a deal for us! This place doesn’t get as crowded as some of the main clubs and lounges (Cabo Wabo, Squid Row, Pink Kitty, etc.), but the service is great, drinks are cheap, and the music is a fun fusion. I really enjoyed this spot and think it’s definitely worth your stop!
Beware though! Only use pesos, otherwise, you will probably get fees on your card, and they aren’t good with figuring out change when using United States dollras.

Definitely my favorite spot in the area here as the décor is so on point and it’s very trendy for the size. It’s also the only place I noted with a live dj (maybe I was too drunk to notice elsewhere) but the dj was very attuned to what made the crowd happy and constantly changed the music style to accommodate. It’s not a club though so don’t expect a huge dancing stage. In fact it’s pretty much a tiny circular area between the dj booth and bar. The upstairs area is small as well but allows for limited patio seating for you to look out over the main bar area.
We were also just seated and the bartender came and gave us free drinks… pretty nice of him!

The music was awesome and they have a cool place in the middle that’s like a little stage you can dance on. I am pretty sure I danced on it for two hours straight. One of my favorite bars/​clubs ever!!!

They accommodated our group and we sat out on the balcony, nice view of the night life.

Knotty had the best music out of all the bars in the area. But for some reason no one was there. If you are into r&b/hip-hop/rap you would really enjoy it. The DJ also mixed the music with upbeats/​techno that made it easy to dance to. That’s the only reason they are getting 2 stars. I later found out why there was no one there.
The drink I ordered was good, not great just good and I originally thought it was a cheap drink until I received my change. I had given the waiter a 20 $ bill for a drink that was only 80 $ pesos and only got 120 $ in peso back that’s equivalent to about 11 bucks so I ended up paying 9 $ for a small drink. Not very happy about that. So if you go only use pesos because they are not USD friendly.

Out of all the bars we visited on our girl’s trip to Cabo, we had the most fun at Knotty Bar! There have an upstairs balcony that overlooks the streets where you can people watch, if you’re into that thing.
Downstairs has a round bar, DJ booth and a couple outside seating areas — mostly for groups getting a bottle. Bottles are fairly cheap and they bring you whatever mixers you want. The managers are über accommodating and make sure you’re having a fun time, and the music is always bumpin’!
This is the bar to go to when you’re in Cabo!

Went here for the first time last weekend (bachelorette party) and had so much fun! It’s downtown in the mix of everything and has a nice open atmosphere and upstairs balcony that overlooks the main street. This was a nice change of pace from the other bars we’ve been to before. The manager was super nice. Service was great, drinks were great. Try the signature shots, not sure what they were, but they were good! Music was great, they played a nice mix of hip-​hop that kept the party going. I will definitely be back!

This bar offers something different and fresh for the Cabo Scene. My mini summary of highlights:
*Small high energy open Air Bar with a balcony level overlooking downtown cabo.
*Interior Design — full of depth, color and texture, very edgy, and original — nothing else like this in Cabo.
*sound system that kept the energy high, great DJ the night I was there –mixed it up across multiple genres
*Cheap awesome drinks… I recommend the lollipop shot, a little sweet with a kick of Chilli.
*and to top it off, great staff
My friends and I loved this place and will definitely visit again on our next trip.

Downtown Cabo has an interesting nightlife.
Knotty was pretty empty when we stopped by but they didn’t disappoint with the cheap drinks! The bottom floor is where the bar and the dance floor is, but we decided to hang out on the second floor where they have a couple of small tables and you can also see the rest of the downtown area. We didn’t stay here that long since it was pretty empty, but I’m glad we checked it out! The mural/​artwork on the wall near the staircase was pretty cool too!
