Gorgeous restaurant located next to the Esperanza Resort. Beautiful, sleek design, lively and fresh. Definitely one of the best new restaurants to come to Los Cabos. Our first dining experience was among a group of 12, which I don’t believe is unusual for Cabo in general — it is a common place for large groups to come and celebrate. The food was killer — Red Snapper appetizer was delicious, the Flank Steak was great. Great cocktails, salad and side dishes as well. However, the service here needs to be significantly developed. There seemed to be plenty of staff, most in need of training. We brought in our own wine, which the servers mixed while pouring. Additionally, the delivery of our plates was somewhat chaotic, we had to instruct the wait staff on who ordered what. Would love to see improvement in the organization and quality of service — it might just be due to the recent opening/newly hired staff. Despite the room for improvement, we will definitely be back!

De los nuevos restaurantes que han abierto en Cabo San Lucas, ubicado en Punta Ballena. Cuenta con un área para echar el drink coqueto, está al aire libre y esta súper agradable, cuenta con un firepit para tener un poco más de calor en las noches de invierno. Después de echarte los tragos coquetos y una buena platica puedes pasar al restaurante el cual a mi gusto le falta luz, en la mesa que me toco era muy tenue y hace muy difícil ver el menú. Pedimos los platillos al centro, no son muy vastos pero ayudan a darte una idea del menú, aunque tuvimos una muy mala experiencia con un tiradito de hamachi ya que sabia muy fishi, espero me explique con este termino, soy de la idea que el pescado no debe de saber a pescado y eso pasa cuando no es fresco y aunque el aderezo estaba delicioso el sabor tan fuerte a pescado lo echaba todo a perder. Pedimos unas brochetas de carne las cuales estaban deliciosas y un Mc and cheese con chipotle delicioso. Las empanadas argentinas muy buenas y unos elotes rostizados en leña que en verdad te hacían chuparte los dedos. Lo califique con 4 estrellas por los detalles antes mencionados, ojala los mejoren, pero si estas de vacaciones en Cabo no dudes en ir.

What a fabulous evening. We came last minute to cabo and wanted to eat at one of our newest favorite restaurants. Toro made it happen. We sat on the patio out front on a courageous new year day. Food, service, atmosphere, and live music were all top notch. All 15 of us would highly recommend.

If I could give zero stars I would. The food sucks. What a waste of a beautiful space. They can change the silverware after every course but they can’t cook. Inedible would be an understatement. To get served is impossible. The waiter is lost. The bill is all wrong. Where the F is Richard Sandoval? He should be ashamed. Don’t bother. A must on you miss list. Don’t walk, run away.

Toro is a nice independent restaurant in this city of all-inclusive and has been able to manage and thrive. We had very interesting experience. We reached there without reservations and were told by the valet fun greeter that they are only taking reservation and no reservations are available the whole day. We went back and just tried online and no problem got a reservation. The hotel was super busy; very nicely decorated. Drinks were fresh and tasted innovative. The waiter tried to dissuade us very strongly from ordering a non menu(veg enchilada) saying it will be 30 minutes after everyone stops eating, but after we insisted he took the order. All the food came together and was super tasty. The carne asada was super soft and the enchiladas were awesome. Food wise this place is much better than the resort food and price wise pretty similar. Worth trying for sure.

Pesimo servicio, y mal trato a los mexicanos, nada recomendable! Nos hicieron esperar aun con reservación y teniendo la mesa lista desde que llegamos, y cuando por fin lo hicieron no nos atendieron durante media hora, mismo tiempo que a los de la mesa de al lado que NO eran mexicanos, les daban toda la atención del mundo, muy mal!!! No vayan!

Such a fabulous restaurant. I would highly recommend if there is even the slightest bit of foodie in you. The ambiance, design, food, service, and culinary expertise is beyond exceptional. Make sure that this place is included on your list to experience. Try the Salmon with Ponzu, the Steak Tartar, Carne Asada, and don’t forget the best deserts in Cabo. Sweet Corn Cake and Tres Letches.

What a gem of a restaurant! So happy we found this spot. We were tired of getting price gouged at the hotels and heard this restaurant was fantastic food and less money. And we were so impressed. Started with the pork belly salad. The pork belly was almost like crutons. Great bright salad. Then we had a sushi roll of spicy tuna. On par with nyc and just delicious. For dinner we split the cowboy ribeye. Holy hell hello gorgeous. My hubby and I are from NYC and big steak people and this exceeded our expectations.

GM Alberto Ribeiro and Chef Caesar really took care of us with fresh sliced meats followed by fresh grilled prawns and octupus followed by exquisite sliced grilled ribeye steak, street corn and grill avacados. The Sommelier knew his wines and we found great value from the execellent list. Service was excellent and friendly. This is sure it be the«it» resturant for the 2016 season.
