Went there for a road trip from SD. The view was amazing! Very quiet and serene overlooking the Pacific Ocean on top of a mountain. The bathrooms were also super cute where they’re open to the ocean lol. The only downfalls is that it is very hard to find. There really isn’t a sign on the outside of the property. Once on the grounds you kind of have to find your way and you have to drive up a huge mountain, all dirt roads and very very bumpy. Bring your all wheel drives! Once your up top you have to park and wait for the shuttle to bring you to the actual wine tasting/restaurant area. Also, we were there on a Sat afternoon and the only thing they had to eat was a cheese platter and hamburger.

Best place I’ve been to in a while. Expectations far exceeded. The tents were amazing. Beautiful showers and bathrooms. The common tent was great for dining. The spa was over the top simple and beautiful. Best of all was the property. Right on the water but in its own valley. Great trails. Amazing place for a couple and for a family. It’s unreal. Definitely worth the money.

Came to Cuatro Cuatros on recommendation from a local friend, and it was our third and final winery of the day before our journey back to Ensenada. Little did we know we would be stepping out into an abyss of mesmerizing paradise! After pulling into the dirt road of the enormous Cuatro Cuatros complex, we followed signs to the viewing deck. After parking, we hop into the back of a pick up truck that takes us down a precarious dirt road onto the edge of the cliff, where rows of beautiful white cabanas cling to the cliff side overlooking the pacific ocean. The view is breathtaking… if you can make it here during a sunset, try to. Wine and delicious appetizers are served promptly at the cabanas. Food is delicious but nothing special. Nothing can draw the attention away from the spectacular setting. This is has got to be the most romantic spot in all of Baja.

Imagine waking up in a luxury cabana, at a rustic chic sanctuary, nestled in the rolling hills of Baja’s Wine Country. All around you are the sights and sounds of nature, enhanced by all of the amenities of a 5 star resort. From wine tasting at the hilltop Miramar bar, which overlooks the pristine, crystal blue waters of the Pacific Ocean below, to riding bicycles through picturesque vineyards, and dining al fresco, Cuatro Cuatros promises an experience like no other. The service is top-notch, and the attention to detail is beyond impressive. If you are looking for a truly unparalleled wine country getaway, then look no further, as you have found it.

I can not describe the calmness that comes over you as you sit at the top of this gorgeous mountain top that overlooks the Baja coast. One of the most romantic places I have ever been to. This vineyard sits on 144 acres and offers a full restaurant, bar and tent style Cabañas. We haven’t had the pleasure of staying in one of the gorgeous luxury tents but we did walk the grounds and I can’t wait to plan our first weekend here. When you first drive up to the grounds you can’t miss the large stone archway, and as you enter in you will see two large wooden boats docked on top of the grass. Beautiful way to welcome you in. We followed the signs west to The El Mirador(The Lookout). When we parked the truck and got out it was breathtaking. The wind carries over the desert mountain and hits the ocean below. You can feel clean air as it rushes by you. It’s quite peaceful. As we stood quietly taking it all in we noticed a truck pull up and the friendly employee said«do you want to go to the bar?» «Hell Yeah!» The setting is perfect for dinner or just drinks. We tried both the red wine which was a blend and a white Sauvignon Blanc that was light crisp and perfect for a warm day. It’s a little drive from San Diego but completely worth it! Oh yeah!!! Don’t forget to use the bathroom it’s an experience you will never forget… next time I’ll take a pic of the view from the ladies room… Amazing!

Not really knowing the exact location of this little winery was intimidating. It was just a recommendation to us and didn’t know much about CuatroCuatros. After asking some of my local Mexican friends about it my GF and I decided to go check it out. This was absolutely an epic visit and so happy we decided to make the trip. Once you drive up you know you are here because of the huge stone arch and security politely greeting, giving you directions. The winery is a perfect blend of luxury and rustics living. A meeting of the ocean and desert that make up jaw dropping views. My favorite part was the mirador bar on the west side of the property with a view of the Pacific Ocean. I’m not the type to sit and relax for long periods of time. But the unique setting and great wine really drew me in. I couldn’t help but sit back, enjoy and take in all the awesomeness. Perfect place for an intimate getaway with that special someone, small groups of people or special events. The staff here were all great and just enhanced the overall experiences. A true gem in the hills of Baja.
