Blue Fish

This was the main place I couldn’t wait to try when I got to our resort. I was so excited they had a selection of fresh ceviche to choose from. My favorite being Peruvian ceviche. The atmosphere is nice, it’s outside next to one of the pools and there are plenty of umbrellas to keep you cool along with a nice breeze. Service is very friendly and attentive, just like every place I’ve been in Mexico. They start you off with fresh chips and fried plantains accompanied by 2 different salsas. We ordered the chicken nachos. Very tasty. We also ordered chicken quesadillas and Peruvian ceviche. The quesadilla was large, my woman wasn’t able to finish it. It was consistent with what a quesadilla should be. I wasn’t very impressed with the ceviche. I like the fish to be totally white and firm. This was translucent and mushy… Although it’s raw fish, and what I’m about to say might sound redundant, but I feel like they didn’t cook the fish in the lime juice long enough before they served it. So I only had a few bites of it.

Loved the ceviche here! I ordered the Asian salmon ceviche and it was perfect amount and no too tangy! the service was great with the awesome happy hour buy one get one free drinks :)
