The tropical and shaded outdoor patio is elegant, classy and comfortable. The bar is fantastic and only outdone by the kitchen. Their specialty shrimp is soooo bueno and the combination plate of shrimp and arrachera steak equally bueno. All for a reasonable price. Worth a visit.

So disappointed based on the other reviews but had the steak and it was not good. It was very salty and was gray through out. My husband had the chicken tacos and again over salted and peppered. Will not be going back.

Recommended by the starter at the golf course. We asked for local fresh catch but great atmosphere. Isreal’s special garlic sauce is a must! The bar service was experienced and the Mojito’s were great. The staff is friendly and very accommodating. WEWILLBEBACK! A must for anyone wanting the local experience.

After going fishing and catching a few fish, I asked our captain where to go to get it turned into dinner and he recommended Misiones de Kino. It was an excellent recommendation. They took my fish and turned it into delicious ceviche before we could get our drinks. Then we had a mexican style sashimi platter that was outstanding. This was followed by a huge platter of our fish prepared 4 different ways, all excellent. Mojitos two of our family had were very excellent as well. They even had my favorite mexican beer, Noche Buena.

Eaten here twice. Located a few streets away from the tourist madness on Lazaro Cardenas street. Lovely romantic open air dining room. Nice employees. Food is barely passable at best. Menu is mostly way overcooked BBQ style meats. Vegetables were also overdone and tasted of char. Prices too high for the quality of the vittles. Limited selection of wine is overpriced as well.

Four of us. Walked in but would recommend reservations . getting more popular. Service was great, rotation of servers ensuring everything is taken care of. We had scallops in garlic, red snapper(fish of the day) prepared several different ways. Plates were Absolutely cleaned off. Sangria was excellent and now headed for desert … can’t wait.

The setting is a classic Mexican courtyard, which is very enchanting! Ingredients were very fresh. We had spinach salad(large enough to split), cannelloni, and pasta aioli. All were really, really good. Service was also great. It is one block off the main street and easy to find.

We had a delicious meal. Many of the reviews talked about Israel’s Secret Garlic Sauce. It was indeed good. The service was excellent. For three of us, dinner and drinks it was about $ 50. We thought great service, delicious meal, parking in the back and a short walk to the main Cabo area… we’d come back again.

Great little spot! The service was some of the best we had in MX… the food was really well done. The Vera Cruz was fresh and not over dressed. The blue crab was delicious I couldn’t stop soaking up Israel’s garlic sauce with bread. and the mussels were not what we expected but a great little surprise!

Totally overpriced for what it is. Drive out to mariscos el Toritos for a taste of local seafood. Come here if you want to hang with the boat(cruise) peoples. And please, for the love of God, skip the sangria full of sour mix. Pure puke.

I made a reservation at Misiones De Kino a month ahead of time for my vacation to CBS, though I’m not sure this is entirely necessary as the restaurant was not even to capacity on a Friday evening. I’d do it anyways to be safe. I made my way over here due to lack of reviews on Unilocal and the plethora of rave reviews on TripAdvisor. You have the option of al fresco dining or sitting under a covered part of the restaurant. Price range is around $ 30 for two people without appetizers or drinks — more expensive than your average CBS local joint. It’s a cute little dim-lighted romantic restaurant with your occasional annoying bunch of spring breakers. They have people going around playing music, but beware, they work for tips and not for the actual restaurant. I had the house octopus dish. It was the most octopus I’ve ever seen served on one plate. They use pieces of the entire octopus, not just the tentacles like I’ve usually had. I loved the texture and the charred taste of the octopus, but the house sauce was a bit too mustardy/mayo tasting for my liking and eventually the entrée became too rich and heavy for me to finish. It does come with a small side of rice and vegetables. The bf had thehouse fish of the day — it was sea bass and it came with the exact same sauce as my octopus. Sea bass tasted over cooked and had the consistency of frozen fish. It’s a decent place that isn’t 20 peso tacos and is actually a nice sit-down restaurant, but not sure if the taste of the food warrants the 5-star reviews.

This place is a beautiful hidden gem in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. My family fishes so the best place recommended for us to take our fresh catch for a restaurant to cook was Misiones de Kino. It was so good and such an excellent price that we ended up going there twice within our week vacation, the only restaurant we visited twice. Our driver was the owner’s neighbor and helped us to get in one night when we didnt have reservations. The owner was so sweet and kind to us and actually waited on our table as well. He remembered us when we came back the second night. The service is just really amazing. Everyone is so friendly. But the food… stands out even more than service on its own. I got the crab chilpilla twice. The sauce was so amazing I couldnt get enough of it. Its blue crab with butter cream, onion, garlic, bay leaf and fresh thyme. Wash down with a chardonnay and I was in heaven! So basically it is an Italian Cabo San Lucas seafood restaurant. They have an anti pasta, pasta section which includes some handmade raviolis and traditional italian items. Then the traditional mexican section with the beef arrachera being so amazing and then of course fresh seafood options thrown in everywhere. Ask about the specialty sauce. Anything with that on it, you cannot go wrong. The restaurant is not very well heard of and I want to let everyone know just how good it is. I am a cook, a foodie and my family is very opinionated. We all loved this restaurant.

Excellent Mexican seafood. We had the jalapeño poppers and blue crab with special garlic sauce to start. We especially liked the crab, though a little messy with having to crack it open. The sauce was TDF and great for dipping the bread. The tortilla soup was very savory served hot with chicken, avocado, tortilla chips and cheese + cream. The pear and gorgonzola salad was also good. We topped off our meal with a shared entrée — the catch of the day — fresh flounder prepared Vera Cruz style in a foil wrap. Very tender and tasty marinade with vegetables. We didn’t have room for dessert. The meal was also a decent price for the fresh and well prepared dishes. A definite gem in Cabo! Oh and they seem to prefer you make reservations. We arrived early without one in high season and there was some discussion about their ability to accommodate us. I’m so glad they did!

Memorable; Top-of-the-Line Food & Service! This place was just what I needed. Staying at a resort in Cabo with their«free food» was too much to handle. The food was not high-quality at the Riu, but at this place — one of the best and needed experiences in all of Cabo. The Chili Relleno and the Jalapeño Popper appetizer sound on paper to be ‘eh, are completely not. The goat cheese, the fresh pepper, the batter, and the sides all complimented each other in a way that left me wanting more. I over-indulged on too much food. I love this place and can’t wait to return. The atmosphere was perfect(outdoor seating), the place was not too dressy(mostly casual), and the service was super helpful and light conversational. I can’t wait to return.

What a great find! From the moment you gaze upon the welcoming entry you know dining at Misiones De Kino will be special. Truly wonderful from the ambiance to the service you must check out this little gem. Great Mexican menu with a touch of Italian. I enjoyed the Spinach and Pear salad and one outstanding Seafood soup. Fantastic service was delivered by Israel and his co-servers. I would absolutely place Misiones De Kino on my list of favorite Cabo San Lucas restaurants. Not pricey: our average was $ 20 per person

The setting is really nice. Half of the restaurant is set outside while the other half is covered. This could be set up for a romantic evening. We ordered 2 appetizers between the 4 of us and some of us were already full before our entrees came out. We each had to pack up a portion of our dinner as we were too full to finish any of the dishes. I had the octopus with chilpilla which was tasty and tender. My mother in law had the same but with the fish of the day(flouder) which was equally tasty. My father had the ceviche which he went all in on and also a seafood burrito which he saved for later on that night. My wife had a seafood pasta dish and seemed pretty happy. The only disappointing thing I could note was that I was too full to try the desserts. All in all very happy with the experiance.
