Somos locales 4 meses. We live in CSL and love love love Burrito Surf! We get there at least once a week and keep working our way though the menu. We like the Chili Lime Chicken bowl best. The roasted pineapple is so complimentary to the salsa and cilantro lime crème. Freshest ingredients anywhere and the best grilled chicken in Cabo. Isabel and Bethany are always fun and our dog Hefe loves hanging out there and visiting Luna.

Ate here yesterday. Definitely solid burrito. And for the price it’s a great value and very authentic and off the path of the tourist stops. Note Google maps still has this in the wrong place.

Best burritos I have ever tasted and believe me… I love burritos. Fresh(a must) with just the right touch of flavoring spices. I always like the hottest sauce and it was to die for. If you are ever in Cabo, try this place. You won’t be sorry. Soooooo much better than the tourist traps. Love the ambiance, too… a real blast back to the carefree days of surfing and the beach.

Such a great place– off the beaten path and away from all of the touristy crap. My husband and I we both so impressed with our food. I had the blondie burrito– it was massive and SO freaking good. Everything was fresh and homemade. The setting is so cute with such a great vibe. This place for me is a must in Cabo. ***heres my word of warning, but it has nothing to do with the restaurant itself*** We knew we wanted to go here but made the mistake of typing it into Google maps – Google maps was way wrong and had us totally squirrelled around. It led us to a different taqueria that was right on the main drag near Taco Guss. We made the mistake of asking if it was or used to be called burrito surf, and they totally lied to us and told us that burrito surf closed and this was the new place and tried to get us to eat there(however we knew this was a lie based a recent review). Once we told the guy we were meeting friends there he told us the truth and drew us a map. The bottom line here is that almost everyone down there off the main drag has their own agenda and they are all promoting themselves or someone that they’re affiliated withs business. Except for the girl that owns burrito surf. She was awesome:) Bottom line– GOTOBURRITOSURF! just say no to all the other BS you have to pass to get there.

Fantastic and fresh food! We were so happy to find a spot that would make a loaded burrito with no meat or dairy, and Burrito surf delivered. The location is great and is away from the tourist-filled marina. Patio seating with music and sun shades made the experience very comfortable, and the owner and staff were really welcoming. We will be eating here every time we come to Cabo!

We came here because of the reviews on Trip Advisor and Unilocal. It’s a little out of the way and hard to find but luckily the Unilocal map is correct and as soon as you start to wonder if you are heading in the right direction you see a sign on a post for Burrito Surf. The chips and guacamole are a great way to start but be warned the burritos are huge so save your appetite. The outdoor patio is decorated in a Bob Marley surf theme and its cute with patio chairs and tables. I ordered a California burrito one of my favorite burritos in the world after my San Diego college days. It was good but needed more flavor and hot sauce. I asked for two hot sauces the habanero and a spicy red sauce. The spicy red sauce complimented my burrito. The habanero is hot but it went well with my husband’s pork burrito. I preferred mine over his and he wasn’t a huge fan thought it was good and big but has had better. We love Mexican food and eat it all around the world. The prices are excellent and I would say try it out and see what you think. I would go back for a lunch again.

This gem of a restaurant is a little past all the tourist traps. If you are looking for fresh, flavorful food with vegan/vegetarian options this is the place to go in Cabo.

Coincidentally, we happened to find this place purely by accident while exploring the city, but didn’t eat there the first time. We decided to go back, try to find it again, and dine there. We did find it, and we were pleaased. We tried to find some other, vegetarian eateries off the beaten path, but we could find none of them, and, yet, we easily found this one twice. We were on the east side of town, so, for us, we just headed down the main drag, Lazaro Cardenas to Matamoros. From there we just headed north to the corner of Matamoros and Ninos Heroes, and there it is. The entrance is not right on the corner. It’s mor in the middle of the block, and the restaurant is in a covered, outdoor patio. The tables are re-purposed surfboards, and very cute. My wife and I both decided to order«El Burro,» their«giant» burrito — Vegetariano, of course. The cost is 90 pesos, which, at an exchange rate of 16 pesos to the dollar, is about $ 5.40. It’s about the size of a Chipotle or Qdoba, and, at that price, a better value. They will make for you either in a tortilla, or in a bowl. Even if you get the tortilla, you might want to have them serve it in the bowl anyway. It can get kind of messy, and the plastic basket they otherwise put it in is not really adequate for cutting with a knife. As for the burrito, itself, the size was good, the appearance was beautiful, and the flavor was beyond compare. My personal opinion is that all food tastes better at that altitude, and humidity, but this one tasted particularly perfect. I loved the mix of vegetables, rice, and black beans. We also got a choice of sauce. I chose the Habanero, and was very pleased. It is pretty hot for most tastes, but I loved it, and thought it seasoned the burrito to perfection. If you want to try their different sauces(they have four), you can get Chips and Salsa and choose three sauces. The mild sauce is way too mild. Both of the medium sauces are OK, and the Habenero is my personal favorite. I completely recommend this place, especially if you don’t mind walking a few steps off the beaten path to find a better value. The same product purchased down by the water will cost two or three times more, but won’t be quite as good. I like the privacy of this place, and the opportunity to get a better look at the heart of the city. It is amazing how much the city changes just a few block back from the bay.

Fresh, healthy, friendly, and a great value! Plus, affectionate golden retriever and kitty cats to keep you entertained during the very short wait for food.

I stayed in Cabo for 6 days and frequented this restaurant 3 times. I tried several other places, but always found myself coming back to Burrito Surf because the food and atmosphere are so great! I would have ate here more, but I wanted to experience other places. I had the shrimp, fish, and California burritos along with chips, salsa, and guacamole. All were really good. The restaurant is slightly away from the marina area and more than certainly worth the walk. Check it out!

I dream of this place. Every time I have a burrito, I wish it was from here. This place is tucked away in a residential street in downtown Cabo. It was too far for us to walk from our hotel, so we ended up taking a cab. Thankfully, the cab drivers know where it is because I would’ve gotten lost trying to look for it. It’s an open air restaurant with a nice canopy to shade you from the sun. We were greeted right away and the hostess sat us at a table right next to a fan. She saw we were with our 2 young sons, so she made sure that we were comfortable. We ended up getting 2 Pacificos, Mexican cokes for the kids, a chicken quesadilla, a Cali burrito, a Blondie and fish tacos. The drinks came out ice cold and we sat back and waited for the food. It came out pretty quickly and we were blown away by how fresh everything was. The burritos were massive! We could’ve easily fed the 4 of us with just 2 burritos. The Cali burrito was cheesy and carne asada was well marinated. We also loved the Blondie. The grilled pineapple added a nice sweetness to the heat of the spicy salsa. The tacos were ok. We just had Tacos Guss the day before, so it was no comparison. Of course, my son loved the quesadilla because it was ooey and gooey. Our whole meal cost less than $ 40 with tip. What a bargain! The waitress was sweet and really friendly. We ended up with tons of leftovers(which were delicious the next day). This is a MUST when in Cabo. Stars for accepting credit cards.

Soo nice food, really tasty, a must-see place while in cabo, went here twice, the staff and presumed owner was really nice and the sitting area has a great feel to it. They didn’t have that many custumers when i was there, but they deserve to have, really tasty burrito and great veggie-options, unlike most places i visited in cabo.

Look, I visit Mexico solely for the food. I am a foodie and I especially love authentic tacos. I decided to seek this place out based on the great Unilocal reviews. Burrito Surf is good, but not great. I hate to sound like the sole naysayer, but somebody with a PhD in taco eating needs to give her honest review of the place. That would be me! I followed the cute signs to the open air restaurant. The environment was fun, inviting, friendly and relaxed. Super comfy canvas chairs and surfboards decorated the outdoor dining area, as did a couple of very friendly resident cats! I love cats so that was a huge bonus. This is a real«come as you are» place, where you can dine in your swimsuits and make prolific use of the word«dude.» The tacos were nothing special. I ordered the grilled shrimp tacos and was disappointed. They were just okay. I know they were freshly prepared when I ordered them but I was so underwhelmed that I don’t really have much else to say about them. They were your average, run of the mill tacos. You can find far better, much tastier and cheaper tacos around town. The guacamole was much better! If I ever go back here to eat, I’ll just get a big bowl of guacamole. The guac had a really strange olive juice flavor to it – nice and salty and pungent and SUPER good. It wasn’t your traditional, typical guacamole but it is absolutely a must-order. The chips were thick, salty and full of crunchy corn-y goodness. Bonus points for their low carb menu, where it’s easy to order tacos and burrito bowls without the tortilla. The ingredients tasted fresh and high quality too. The owners and employees were super friendly and made me feel right at home. There’s a clean bathroom inside(big plus for Mexico), so use it before you leave. This isn’t a terrible place to eat, it’s just not worth taking the effort to seek it out to eat here. If you are in Cabo for a week or so, you may want to stop by for a friendly chat, to pet the cute cats, and to get an order of guacamole.

We have a large family and went in with a huge takeout order. Bethany and her staff did a wonderful job of putting our order together and the food was absolutely incredible. Charming, clean spot with loads of character and a menu with more than something for everyone. Loaded nachos, wings, massive burritos… so good! Highly recommended! Thanks again, Bethany! Looking forward to seeing you again soon!

We found this great burrito spot on Unilocal and thought we would give it a go. It is a little hard to find but once there we had a great meal. Being vegetarians, we were thrilled with the sincerity of the ingredients in our veggie burrito and quesadilla. The whole wheat tortilla is really delicious and the Habanero salsa was perfectly hot! The food was prepared fresh and served nice and hot. Great find in the heart of Cabo!

This was our first stop after landing in Cabo. The venue was open air with golden furred pets(cat and dog) prancing around. The dog is very well mannered, so no need to worry about it jumping on you or scaring children. The owner is a sweetheart and is from the states. She entertained all our questions and was super helpful. We started off with guacamole which was super chunky and to die for. I would eat a whole meal of just that alone. I ordered the giant pastor quesadilla with pineapple, which was three hefty slices of goodness. The pineapple gives it a Hawaiian-esque and fresh taste. The dish is super juicy, so prop the plate up with napkins to drain it. My friends had high remarks of the Blondie burrito and pastor burrito. These are very, generous portions. None of us could finish, so we saved it for breakfast tomorrow. Get the horchata. Enough said. Towards the end of the meal, a fat and fluffy cat came to join us. This cat is an all star and looooves attention– showing off by rolling on its back and wiggling like a dog. The prices were extremely reasonable for everything we got. 225 pesos for all three of us including drinks and a guacamole appetizer. Don’t forget to check in for free drinks!

Great Food, Excellent Service, with WiFi to boot. This is a nice departure from all the tourist trap on Squid roe. The staff is friendly and very accommodating. The food is excellent. We ordered the shrimp burrito bowl and an asada burrito bowls were very fresh and tasty. The chips and guacamole are a great combination with a cold beer on a hot day.
