This is a great little place on the marina. Would have to say it is more Spanish tapas than Mexican. We decided we wanted to eat at the marina and took a wander down to pick a restaurant. The guys at Olé Olé were a little less pushy than the others, the menu looked good with a lot of Mexican specialties, and they had a table ready for us outside. The waiter was a really nice guy and put in a great amount of effort, despite some challenges we had. Note that it is already hot when you are sitting outside, but then they will light the torches at the top of the restaurant and it will get really hot! They advertised one Malbec on their menu by the glass and when we asked for a bottle, the one they brought out was not the one advertised and was not a good wine. They had another that was offered only by the bottle that we ordered and it was good. Don’t try and order a mimosa here, it’s made with flat moscato and is not great. We started out with the potatoes in spicy sauce, shrimp in garlic sauce, and chips and salsa. The potatoes and chips/salsa came out and were both very good. They are good at tapas and I would recommend trying the tapas plates they have. They forgot about the shrimp, which was unfortunate because we were looking forward to it. Our entrees came out and everyone was happy, some more than others. A couple of people had the skewers that they advertise outside the restaurant. One chicken and one shrimp and both people were extremely impressed and the portion was so large, neither was able to finish all of it. The sea bass in wine caper sauce was also a big hit. The pasta in spicy tomato sauce was absolutely delicious, not very Mexican or Spanish, but delicious nonetheless. I had the shrimp enchiladas, they were ok but not great. They were absolutely stuffed with fresh shrimp, but the sauce was mediocre and there was an unnecessary amount of cheese on top. The Mexican combo platter was good, steak was well cooked and tender. The arrachera steak was good but not the best in Cabo(Baja Brewing Company has a good one on their combo plate). They have a paella on the menu that sounded delicious, but it requires 24 hour notice and a 6 person order. We are planning to do that next time though. All in all, Olé Olé is a great little restaurant in the marina and we will be back to try that paella!

We had the best experiences here! It was so good that we went back to(at least) the bar every day! I cannot get over how friendly the staff was there. Food was awesome too. Best Margarita I have ever had! Because it’s on the strip in front of the marina it’s so fun to people watch and to walk around the area. I highly recommend this restaurant.

One of the better restaurants along the marina. Grilled garlic shrimp — wow. The local Mexican items on the menu are better IMO. Steak and lobster special for $ 30 is hard to beat!!! Steak was a little tough but had good flavor. Ruth’s Chris at the corner of the marina has the most consistently good steaks if you are looking for standard American fare. They have a small bar inside if you are looking to watch sports with plenty of A/C. I like this place and have been many many times — but it is just OK, nothing crazy good, but worth the trip. Since they opened maybe 18 plus years ago they have added a sushi section and pizza section of the restaurant and I hear those are good too.

Had a good selection of steak and seafood amoung other things. I had yellowtail because they were out of the fish on the menu which I didn’t love. It was a bit dry for my taste. My boyfriend got the steak and lobster deal which was mostly enjoyed.

We came inside to get out if the heat and get a bite for lunch(my wife & I are definitely not cut out for the temperatures in Cabo as everyone kept telling us how mild the weather was, and we were nearly in full heat stroke mode). We sat down in the patio directly in front of a fan which had the added benefit of keeping the flies away from our food. Instead, about half a dozen of the little buggers congregated on the other side of the table and plotted their takeover. I decided to go with a tried & true standard, and ordered the chicken enchiladas. When they arrived, I was pleased to see that they compared favorably to food back home in Los Angeles… wait a sec, did I just basically say that Mexican food in Los Angeles is better than in MEXICO?! Sorry, but I can’t lie: my experience in the admittedly highly-touristy areas of Mexico that I have visited is that the food is not all that. If you can get past the image of flies on your food, this is a solid option for lunch.

Ate here with friends but they cooked the fish we caught so can only recommend coming here if you want a place to cook your catch. They did a good job with sashimi and grilled fish 3 ways. For sides, they offered baked potato and vegetables. Great view of the marina too.

This place is half Mexican food and half sushi bar. The fish is very fresh and has a local twist. Two for one drinks and their mimosas are more champagne than OJ(added plus). The food is good, overall. It’s not 5* but it’s easy to sit and enjoy the marina. Chinto and Ramiro are both exceptional and will cater to your silly desires(lobster tempura tacos!) My wife ordered the smoked tuna tacos,(cat food) they were terrible. He removed the order from our bill and made the experience worth it. Unheard of down here. We have been back to eat and drink 4 times, now. The sashimi serrinito is exceptional!!!

This place is low quality. Disgusting sauces and the ingredients are not fresh. I would never eat here again. Just had the shrimp enchiladas and feel sick. Too many other places around to choose from. We came here because we had the Cabo Passport. Don’t make the same mistake.

Had the best dinner last night at Olé Olé. Started with the garlic shrimp w/bread for appetizer, mmmmm finger licking good! I had the coconut shrimp and my husband had steak, lobster & shrimp! Loved all of it! Highly recommend this place!

In spite of the waiter(Arturo) being a cranky pants, the food is actually pretty good. I believe they need to spend some time training their staff to smile. Everyone looked stressed. I highly recommend you order the lobster and steak special, $ 25.00. The dressing that comes with their mixed green salad is yummy. But, they should skip the olives in the salad.

We had lunch here, and ordered exclusively from the sushi menu. The sushi was some of the best I’ve ever had(and Vancouver has some good sushi). The views and ambiance were great, and the staff was attentive. My only complaint was that their margarita was mediocre at best.

This is the best dinner at the marina. You will be offered a deal at every doorstep along the marina, so be ready to say«No Gracias» about 10 times. We had the sushi with a 20% offer from the waiter. We also had the 7 oz lobster tail with t-bone cuts for steaks with two sides on the house and 2 for 1 drinks. This was the best deal with a great view, a great ambiance along with the total bill less than USD$ 120. We could have saved on sushi and drinks but we had two sushi plates and six drinks, so, the price was crazy good.

The steak and lobster were better than what we had at the Ruth’s Chris a block away, and 20% of the price. Good service, nice view. Strolling guitar players to serenade you. Great tortilla soup too.
