Looking for a late night dinner and stumbled upon this place. Glad we did was it was really delicious. We had the ribeye steak and grilled shrimp. We also had a green salad on the side, but it was just ok. Overall good food, great ambiance, and good service.

Last night we decided to have dinner here with a group of six skeptical friends. The only reason we went to that very tourist-trap Marina restaurant area was because we were passing by the place and notice a waiter dramatically making Banana Forters table side. It is a very small establishment with zero frills. We ordered baked clam, table side prepared Caesars salad, lobsters Thermidor prepared also table side. Blacked tuna and of course, Banana Forters for desert. It was an extraordinary experience which we did not expect. The grand master of all this was Jimbo and his excellent team. We brought our own wine and paid a corkage fee which we prefer to do because we enjoy finer wines although the restaurant seems to have a decent selection.

This place is great. We had a filet mignon that was cooked to perfection, imperial shrimp that are mouth watering, a lobster tail that was perfect and mahi mahi grilled with the best flavors along with an appetizer of fried calamari! This place is small, fast service and excellent wait staff! Prices are reasonable. This view of the marina is perfect! My next visit I will try it again!

Best seafood! My oldest daughter was begging all week for oysters & all my husband wanted was good fish tacos & a beer. We walked all the marina looking at the menus listening to the restaurant pushers to eat at their place, but none met both their needs. We finally came to Pochos & saw everyone’s wishes met. It’s a smaller restaurant between a large sushi restaurant & bigger touristy rock restaurant. We had 3 fish tacos, half a dozen of oysters, ceviche, club sandwich, &6 beers(beers are 2×1) and we spent close to $ 800 peso(about $ 50us). Bonus was seeing their boat on the dock knowing what they catch is what they serve.

THE. BEST. MEXICAN. FOOD. EVER. Even though I was born and raised in SoCal I wanted authentic Mexican food during my short stay in Cabo. Unfortunately, my friends and I stayed at an all-inclusive resort and the food was pretty subpar. One evening, while we were out and about in the downtown area, we got hungry and found this place, to the recommendation of some bouncers. My life was forever changed. A friend and I shared the SHRIMPCEVICHE and it was HEAVENLY. First of all, the plate is huge and we did not feel gypped even though we shared(same goes for the chips). I liked how the ceviche style was more substance rather than juice. I’ve had some ceviche that was too moist, and it wasn’t pleasant attempting to dip my chips in it. The shrimp was almost raw but in a refreshing and not gross. The accompanying ingredients that made up the ceviche, such as the onions and tomatoes, tasted incredibly fresh and light. The avocado slices were not only generous, but very delicately sliced with just the right amount of ripeness. The habanero sauce on the side was incredibly spicy(as we were rightly forewarned); even though I have a penchant for all things spicy, just a minuscule dip of my fork was painfully and strangely satisfying and more that enough. Even though I usually finish all of my food, this platter was so big we even(unfortunately) had some leftovers. This, of course, was unfortunate as we could not take it to go, but I was a happy camper. Now, I am only left of the faint memory of a midsummer night’s dream(of shrimp ceviche). Till we meet again, Pochos!

I totally loved this place — from the authentic Mexican colorful décor including Pancho Villa portraits to the beautiful tile in the girls room. Over 100 tequilas and best margaritas I’ve had here. The food was also really good and so were the Mariachis! I’m going back before I leave!

First class Cabo dinner! Located at the marina overlooking the docks, Pocho’s is a wonderfully romantic, classy and fine dining establishment in Cabo. Yea, we were lured in by the guys outside with the menus but hey, it worked. Quickly saw they had great reviews on Unilocal and knew I had made the right decision. Had a table outside, very friendly and professional service. No disappointments here. First class, five stars all the way around. Terrific menu with items you find at many other places in Cabo including a TJ style caesar’s salad made table side. Had the lobster dinner and a steak and lobster dinner along with some delicious oysters and shrimp as an appetizer. On the pricey side here but well worth it if you want a top notch meal with terrific service.

I came here with 8 other people in our group on our vacation to Cabo. We had quite the hassle with our room back at our resort and one of the managers sent us here to get our first round of drinks on the house. It was a saturday night, the place is small so there was about a half hour wait, which was fine so we walked around the marina for a bit and then came back. As they cleared out two tables for us to sit at, they took our drink orders. The guys were nice, showed us the seafood deals for the night, etc. After ordering and receiving our food, it was almost as if we were ignored or the owners/brothers/waiters whoever they are forgot about us. We actually bought dinner here and didn’t just come to get free drinks. I ordered the chicken alfredo which was one of the best-tasting pastas I have ever had. My parents ordered a filet mignon to share, which they were almost 95% positive was not a filet, but just a steak. My sister and her boyfriend ordered the two lobster tails and two filet mignon special. They ordered their filet mignons medium rare and they came out super overcooked, medium well at the very least. They didn’t even finish them and were unsure that theirs were even filet mignon as well. For a $ 70 plate of food, they could’ve at least cooked it correctly. He told the manager it was overcooked and the guy did nothing, he kinda just listened and walked away. Everyone else’s food was fine. And I don’t know if I’m supposed to expect good customer service in Mexico, but we spent over $ 300 on food here and they couldn’t even check up on us.

Good place. Small and intimate which bodes well for great service. Not able to give 5 stars for 2 reasons: poorly made cocktails and a dessert offering that doesn’t match their menu(nothing original or standout compared to other meals we had in Cabo). We had one of the worst margaritas and dirty martini ever at Pochos so stay with wine or beer. However, they do receive 4 stars for a solid meal, at a great price and very good service. And the view does not suck! Try out Pochos, you’ll be happy you did.

Excellent! This is a little place, only 8 tables, but the service was excellent. The wait staff was fun and knowledgeable. Offered suggestions for complimentary dishes, the food was extremely fresh. We were informed they harvest their own fish daily and have a fishing boat, the«High Risk» docked in the marina near by. The presentation was beautifully done and the food itself was delicious. We wanted a great and unique seafood experience and we got it. Definitely recommend.

We had another awesome experience! This is OFFICIALLY our favorite restaurant in Cabo. Located on the Marina, Pocho’s provides limited seating so reservations are recommended. Table side Caesars salad is perfection. Although no longer on the menu, tonight the chef made us the Camerones a la Diabla which is AMAZING! So much heat with so much flavor. For those who can’t handle the heat, try the Camerones Chipotle… still has some heat but won’t leave you asking for more water! Margaritas were excellent! Most of the food is prepared and cooked table side. Wait staff is very attentive and service is faster than a Mexican«minute»! Only downside is the number of mariachi bands who walk thru! People watching from your seat is a great source of entertainment!
