This place was gourmet quality without gourmet prices. Delicious tacos with a variety of flavor including vegan options. Try the agua del dia also. Refreshing and delicious. We went back in the evening for drinks. The Mango Mezcalita was a delicious mix of mango, salt and chili with spirits.

Fantastic place, ambiance, service and food! We needed a break from the traditional Mexican fare and this totally delivered, great choices and while not Mexican food, everything had a Mexican flair. I had a delicious Mediterranean pizzadilla(pizza with a tortilla«crust») that was so fresh and delicious and my guy had a fantastic spinach and kale salad with chicken, goat cheese, walnuts… yum! Paola, the owner, was charming and welcoming and the whole evening was an unexpected delight. Highly recommended!

As a foodie, I achieved the Mazatlecan version of nirvana at this establishment. Our party of three shared the Delirium Torta, the Bourbon Torta, and 4 different tacos. All were excellent, especially the Zen Vegetarian one, which I didn’t expect to be my fave. I’m not a hippy or a vegetarian, but this one knocked my socks off! They also have a nice atmosphere with local art and a location just off the plaza machado. Enjoy!

This place is amazing. In the Centro area of Mazatlan, we walked three miles from our hotel to get to this place. It was well worth it. We were greeted with the mint and cucumber essence in their Agua del la Dia. The staff were warm and friendly, and were easy to communicate with. They brought us paper thin and crispy Sweet Potato chips that were a perfectly balanced salt and sweet combo, cooked to perfection. I am a vegan and the staff had no problems accommodating my lifestyle with the fusion dishes. The Tinga Tostadas were tangy and delectably robust with the use of portobello. I tried a variety of Tacos, including one with a fantastic mole. The served a variety of Tortas that included curry, portobellos, chutney, and well balanced flavor. This is definitely a place to stop if you are vegan or vegetarian and love a great meal. Try the Mango Mescalita– estaba delicioso!

I must agree, I am delirious about Delirium! The food is unique without losing it’s Mexican roots.(I don’t come to Mexico to eat Italian food.) The ambience is simple and hip. The prices are very reasonable, and our waitress, Fernanda, was an expert guide for the eclectic food choices and absolutely charming. Ingredients were fresh, and a cold crisp sauvignon blanc was such a nice change from endless margaritas… although they probably make a mean margarita too! Another appealing aspect of this restaurant is the location. Situated just off the central plaza in the historic old Mazatlán, it is an easy stroll to people watching, the performing arts theater, and a lively night life. Our family of 8 insisted on eating at Delirium twice during our week long stay, and we look forward to coming back. Having been open just a year, we are hoping they enjoy great success. This is a jewel!

Are you tired of eating the same kind of Mexican food at all the restaurants in Mazatlan?! Delirium is a fusion restaurant that takes the best parts of Mexican food, local Mazatlan ingredients, and prepares it in a new way. We’ve been coming to Mazatlan for many years now and this is by far the best restaurant we’ve come across(sorry Topolo)!! I chose three soft tacos from the menu including the namesake Delirium, Zen, and a chicken mole. All of them were fantastic but the mole was superb! To drink I had the sweetened mint cucumber water. Perhaps a tiny bit too sweet but was a nice choice to see on the menu. The restaurant also serves as an art gallery which helps to make a hip atmosphere. We will definitely be returning in a couple days!
