Looks are totally deceiving. Cool looking lighted menu, very nice looking place(for a very formal fancy dinner) and amazing presentation but cook not the very best at tasting good. Octopus tostada had no flavor other than salt. Ceviche gave me GI issues after a bite. Beans were fine and guac looked nice with fresh avocado but again lacking in flavor. Drinks menu seemed amazing but I don’t drink which seems to be the essence of the place. Price are good. Presentation excellent. Service hard working but left disappointed with taste.

I had the Baja California style tacos. High points for style, service, plating and ambience. I think I went around closing time, so they must be out of some ingredients. some of my tacos started getting soggy because of a little too much tomato. Anyway, the tortilla used was very tasty — overall it was definitely not bad. My husband had a fish dish, which he liked — but said that perhaps something was off. We are not experts when it comes to Mexican cuisine, but felt that there was room for improvement — IMHO. Oh, and since I was Spanish challenged, I really appreciated that the menu had all the ingredients in the dishes clearly mentioned, and the wait staff was very fluent in English. Múy bién!

Chapulin runs at Intercontinental Hotel. A very modern wood atmosphere with great service. Part of the restaurant is smoke friend. Tbe area is separated by glass wall. There is an extense liat of cocktails. Drom Mexicam to classics. Food is considered Root Mexican from several Mexican regions. Guacamole is to die for.

First of all, great service. Very attentive and never let’s my beer go dry. The Avacado over crab and potatoes was magnificent. The short ribs were a bit salty but nothing can’t be fixed with a bite of bread. Even though intercontinental hotel standards, I say please come and enjoy
