This is a great place for breakfast. It’s a very stereotypical Mexican themed, with«calavera» skeletons and multi-color chairs. The only reason this does not have a perfect 5 is because the waitress was so annoyed that I kept taking her away from texting, and then she got mad at the end when her colleague took my bill for her, because she was no where to be found. I tried the veracruzanos(pork filled banana leaf), the yucateco(chicken and pork filled) and the championes(mushroom and bacon filled). They were all very delicious. I also tried their atole(both coco and caramel) and those were very good too. The tamales are more expensive than if you buy them from a cart, but the ambiance and«sit down» factors make up for that extra cost

The best tamales and other local specialties. Colorful, comfortable and relaxed. Not expensive. They even have huitlacoche tamales. Don’t ask!
