Rincón Argentino

This is an easy five star rating. Fantastic Argentinian statehouse in Polanco. I irdered the filet mignon and I got what was at least one and a half pound of absolute meat heaven. The chorizo appetizer and any of the empanadas were absolutely delicious. Highly recommended.

He sido un «regular» de El Rincón en los últimos años (muy buen ambiente familiar, menú amplio, precios razonables) pero en mi última visita, desde que llegué al lugar, el capitán y los meseros estaban definitivamente «off»… desde levantar mi orden de bebida muchos minutos después de haber llegado, hasta la entrega de la cuenta (en que el mesero tomó más de 15 minutos DESPUÉS de llevarla a la mesa, haciendo cargos equivocados y luego acreditando a mi tarjeta, separándola mal entre sólo 2-​dos tarjetas de crédito, e inclusive considerando que le tuve que escribir las operaciones y se las expliqué 2 veces…).
Les diría que esta última visita fue «meeehhh» tanto en alimentos como en servicio.
Aaaaaaanyway, siempre considérenlo. Probablemente me toco mala suerte de un mal día — tripulación.

Excellent, high quality food, great service — very patient with my terrible Spanish. Excellent desserts, if you like meat this is a great restaurant

We had an executive from my work in town, so we arranged for a group dinner here. There were 15 or so of us and the restaurant easily accommodated us (we did stop by to arrange the dinner beforehand). It’s a nice, pleasant atmosphere, the staff and servers were wonderful, and the dinner was excellent. We arranged for a group parillada, and similar to a Brazilian Rodizio, they just kept bringing meat out. The food was delicious and it was a great way to greet our boss on his visit. It is a bit expensive though, I paid $ 70 for the meal (not including drinks), but there are many menu options that are much more affordable.

Cambie mi reseña del Rincon porque ahora que regrese me da mucho gusto decir que la comida esta igual o mejor que en sus buenas épocas. Tiene nueva administración y están estrenando terraza y decoración lo que lo hace más atractivo. El servicio es excelente y el gerente Caesar es una persona muy atenta y se desvive por los clientes. Vale la pena visitarlos cuando se les antoje comida argentina.

This was the first restaurant I ever went to in Mexico. It was also the first time I had chimichurri. Since then, I’ve tried the chimi everywhere I go. I’ve even made a few at home, one which is amazing. I have yet to recreate or find what I tasted at Rincon. The service and food, especially the meat was just outstanding. It’s been 7 years but tonight I get to go back so I’ll be able to add more details around this review.

Fantastic Argentinian steakhouse in the Polanco… I’ve never had a bad meal there!
Lots of variety on the menu here and all of it is high quality.
Great staff and good security here… very safe.
