Starbucks

Los cafés en este lugar serían mediocres si no fuera por el alto nivel de personalización, particularmente consideró el expreso americano como su carta fuerte. El café del día es una abominación. Es caro en relación a otras cafeterías del mismo «rango» como Juan Valdés o Cielito Querido. Es para un de vez en cuando por qué resulta ser más blof que buen gusto.

This Starbucks is in the same building as my office so it satisfies my a addiction on a daily basis when I am in Mexico City. Overall staff know English although I’ve learned to order my drink in Spanish. My gold card works and staff are persistent in making it work when it seems not to. Every visit has a different treat. This late October trip, near the Day of the Dead festival, there was «dead bread» which is a delicious chocolate and regular bread with sugar on top (ok a glorified sugar donut). It is in a roll shape with knobs on top which represent bones. They were individually wrapped. My coworker suggested I request it heated. And another addiction was created…
