Pastigel

As a pastry chef I am always trying new recipes, and sometimes the ingredients asked for are not easy to find. I’ve been to almost every store in Oaxaca selling materials & ingredients. I believe pastigel is the one that has the biggest variety, anything from butter, sugar, flour, parchment paper, chocolate, silicone molds, baking trays and everything in between. There’s also classes availables, depending on the season. I am seriously thinking about signing up for the lace sugar decoration class, it looks so interesting and the prices are very accesible.
For the products sold there, there’s different brands available, from Wilton to Alegria, also the prices vary depending on the brand, personally I do love Wilton, cookie cutters, piping bags, paper cups, etc.
So whenever you feel like being creative visit this store, is by far the best baking & pastry supply store in Oaxaca.
