My friend’s client/friend took us here to eat while we were visiting Puebla. This place is so fancy! The restaurant is dimly lit and there was a guy carving lamb near the entrance! We had reservations and received complimentary bread to start. He ordered some drinks for everyone, which included beer, clamato, and some tequila. Even though the tequila was high quality and smooth, it was too strong for me. Next, he just ordered a bunch of tostas– there was roast beef, shrimp, and eel… All three tostas very delicious and filling. I was getting a little full before my entrée came lol. I looked over the menu and decided to order the shrimp with 3 chiles, which wasn’t spicy at all. I also had pieces of the beef, which was very tender and flavorful. My friend offered some of her shrimp relleno dish, which was light and came with an interesting sauce. Everything was yummy and service was excellent! He made us order dessert, so we got the lemon ice cream tart with merengue. It was a nice ending to a heavy meal and everyone was stuffed!
