I have been going to Rocky Point all my life, I even got married at Playa Bointa. My family and I go about 2 – 4 times a year and I love to try new resorts. So for my first experience with Las Palmas I was very disappointed! A friend of mine had told me he had a bad experience when he stayed there so I was hesitant but I really wanted to try one of their Villas. I book Villa #8 in June for October. Three months in advance. I was concerned when I notice I could no longer see the villa online. I spoke to the manager and she assured me that the owner took it out of the rental pool but would respect my reservation. And if there were any problems she would contact me and put me in another villa equal to #8. When we arrived to check in she told me I could not stay in villa #8 but she could give me 2 two bedroom condos! I thought that was bs! After going back and forth with her for 2 hours and her going back and forth with the owner on the phone, who I assumed lives in AZ she said we could have the villa. I believe the problem was between the owner and managing company and I should have never been involved in the first place! Needless to say their managing sucks. They are very unprofessional! Was the villa beautiful? Yes. Was the resort nice? Yes. Will I be staying there again? NO!
