So… The location on Unilocal as of this note is wrong. This establishment is in Old Town… and it is terrific! Two for one drinks tonight and they are good healthy strong ones ;). Right next door to Andale. Nice relaxed atmosphere. People watching is great. We’ll return soon.

Love the bar. I meet Endra in 2010 after I got layoff from work and went down to PV for a week by myself and she made me feel right at home. Every night I would stop by and have a drink with her and have her tell me where to eat that night. She made my week. I stop by every year in November since 2010 and have a drink and visit with her. Her staff is wonderful and they all make you part of their family. Thank you all for another wonderful time in Puerto Vallarta this November 2015. John

This bar and restaurant are amazing. Endra makes everyone feel welcome and at home on the bar side and Andre serves up some amazing meals on the bistro side. The bartenders and wait staff are so friendly. You will have a great time if you stop there.

Love this little bar. It’s small and has both inside and on the sidewalk seating. It’s best to get an outside table and watch the world walk by. Since their isn’t a lot of seating you will get to meet other travelers, which to me is one of the best things about traveling. The drinks are great and the staff is always friendly.

This is the Puerto Vallarta equivalent of Cheers. It’s really just a little hole in the wall on Olas Altas — maybe seats 20 inside and another 30 or so out on the sidewalk and it is always packed. People actually show up before they open at 5 p.m. to stake out their territory and God help you if you’re sitting in a «regulars» seat. Cheapest, strongest drinks in town, especially during happy hour. The women who own the place(one Canadian and one Dutch) are institutions themselves — everybody in town, and visitors from all over the world, know Marianne and Endra. And, if they’ve met you chances are pretty good they know you by name. The regulars cycle through depending on the month but if you spend a season or two here you know when to expect the Toronto boys and then the Chicago crowd and Calgary cowboys, etc. They all make an appearance sometime during the season at Apache’s — it really is old home week all of the time. It’s fun. People drink too much. They still smoke outside because they still can(find me inside). They bring their dogs. They play with the incredibly friendly staff(Freddie, Chuy, Andres) who are amazing and manage to know what everybody drinks. A Dutch friend of Endra’s(Andre) has a little bistro next door that serves quite decent food thank God because you’re going to need to soak up some booze at some point. I dream about his Dutch meatballs when I’m home for the summer. It’s quite a show all around. Now that I’m not drinking nearly as much it sometimes wears on me a bit and I don’t spend as much time(or money) there as I once did but it’s still a regular stop where you’ll see a friendly face and everybody knows your name.
