We were staying at the hotel across the street. My girl was a little under the weather so I decided to try this place solo. I’m so glad I did! I was the only one at the restaurant but loved the solitude and good company from the friendly staff. If you are looking for beautiful expensive-looking place this is not it. But if you love a homey, stripped down, no frills outdoor seating area with a cool vibe you will love it as I did. I can’t remember the name of my entrée but it was a grilled fish in a spicy red sauce. Unbelievably delicious! It came with a well appointed salad and rice and beans –a seriously great value. The best part is– I mentioned to my waiter that my girlfriend was sick and had a sensitive stomach. They ended up making her a light vegetable soup and insisted on delivering it to the room. It was perfect for her– a such a nice thing to do. They even recommended medicine from the pharmacia that had her feeling better in just one day. Bonus! Can’t wait to get back to PV to eat here again!

My boyfriend and I found this gem back in November while vacationing in Puerto Vallarta. We stumbled upon this place while looking for street tacos, and I am so glad we did. The ambiance is exactly what we were looking for. It was does a busy street and away from all hustle and bustle. The owner was amazing and showed us around the restaurant. Very authentic and a 5 star experience.

We first met the owner, Tenor(and Mom, and staff), and experienced this fine little restaurant and bar when we started staying at the Los Arcos Suites Hotel across the street from the restaurant. It soon became a favourite dining out spot of ours. It was like a «homecoming» when we went over for our first dinner after arriving in town each trip. And that ‘feeling’ has always remained throughout our stays, and dining there. We felt like we were dining with family! We have enjoyed a good many offerings … nothing fancy … just good«down home» cooking — chicken, beef, ribs, fish, seafoods, and the like, with many options to choose«how you like it» prepared. A big a-la-carte menu, and daily specials. And each meal has always included a free margarita or beer, along with some good-tasting nacho chips & salsa, and with each entrée, a small, green salad, selection of veggies, frijoles, and basket of toast and/or tortillas. Good food, well-prepared, with friendly and good service, served up in a small, outside courtyard setting of their home. Nice, friendly people we know and like, and for us, our dining ‘home away from home’. Our kudo’s to Tenor, and all, for what they do, and how they do it!
