I went to Zen looking for a massage, unfortunately my experience with massage therapists in Vallarta has been not so great. I have had great massages at hotel Spa’s but outside in Old town or the Romantic zone there is a massage place in almost every corner. Hard to find a good and professional place. My experience here begins when I meet the owner Mateo and I begin to ask him questions. Are they certified or licensed and professional? He said yes, I told him my experience with so called claimed professionals who give massages during the day and work at the bar at nights. Not very professional or certified. I wanted to make sure his massage therapists had experience and were professionally educated. I believe I asked normal questions any perspective client would ask. Well I guess he did NOT like that. He told me to leave and find someplace that I felt I could trust. How can I trust someplace if you can’t even answer three questions about your services? I did not get a massage here and my review is solely on the way the owner treated me. In my opinion he has NO business working with clients. He was having a bad day or I don’t know, but you can’t treat customers in such manner. Hire a person who can answer questions and has customer service experience because you my friend DONOT!!! I do not recommend Zen it is definitely not a relaxing experience if the owner is stressed out and unable to communicate with perspective customers. There are many other options for a massage in Puerto Vallarta this is NOT one of them!

I just got a massage at Zen yesterday while in town for the weekend. Small, chill space. Great massage and a great deal. I totally recommend.

Nice little massage spot between Hotel Passada Roger and Tucan Freddy’s! What you thought those were next door? I told you it was small! Only the massage room really, different guys depending on time of day. I can only review Carlos who works the last shift as by the time I come back from my day he was working. He really does a great job and at 350 pesos so like 27 bucks? I wish he were back home!
