I really enjoyed the romantic, candle light atmosphere. Pizza with the works had so much flavor and thin crust. Spaghetti tasted so good like moms.

The atmosphere is just about the best in Rosarito! The pizza was scrumptious! The lasagna was seriously the best ever! And my meal, the pesto fettuccine was melt in my mouth delicious! My husband said the margarita was the best he’d ever had! And then, let’s talk about service! We really like to go out for the service and they surpassed our expectations in their quality of service too! So I guess I can highly recommend Bettucini’s to anyone who likes great atmosphere, food and service. I’m really not sure on the cost, I didn’t pay but I remember my pasta dish being around $ 8 and the portion was so large, half came home with me! 5 stars from us tonight!

Who goes to Mexico and eats Italian food? We did, twice. Came here for our first meal after a long day due to convenience. We liked it so much, we had our last dinner here as well. The interior is amazing. We ate in their outdoor area which was half open to the Rosarito sky with nice stone work, trees inside and nice old wooden tables. The sangria is delicious. We got the fried seafood appetizer on both visits. Fresh food with some nice sauce to complement it. I got the mixed seafood pasta the first time. It’s massive and hit the spot after a long day. The pizza is great. Got the margarita and was very good. Can’t lose here. Nice break from everything else.

By far one of the best salads(dressing was exquisite) and mushroom appetizers(mushrooms in wine) I’ve ever had. Pizza was good, I should have ordered what I wanted(pizza Blanca). Sangria was delicious! All this wrapped up in a beautiful setting. We sat in the patio, awesome. And last but not least was the amazing service, wow!

Excellent service! And the food is superv! Since, it was my first time here, I decided not to take a risk and ordered a house salad and pizza. The house salad alone was delicious! With feta cheese and walnuts with a couple of apple slice, and house dressing(delicious). Their pizza is thin crust which is my preference anyway. I’d definitely come back next time I am in Rosarito. ;)

We loved eating at this Italian/pizza restaurant while visiting Rosarito. The restaurant is not that big but full of charm. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. The food was excellent and moderately priced.

We love this place. Great atmosphere, good food, and love the service. The atmosphere makes you feel like your in Italy for a moment, in a small quaint town. The prices are also reasonable. We will be back!

Being already a little burnt out on Mexican food, I searched Unilocal for pizza places in Rosarito. Betuccini’s popped up just a mile away from Rosarito Beach Hotel where we were staying, so we said why not and grabbed a cab in front of the hotel. A side note, this would have been completely walkable, however we were both fatigued from the day’s activities and the temperature had dropped quite a bit. We made the mistake of not negotiating that small distance with the cab driver BEFORE getting in and he insisted on $ 5 as opposed to the $ 3 prenegotiated fare in return. Not a big deal, it’s $ 2, just be wary. Betuccini’s is like walking into a little Italian trattoria in a Mexican beach town. Dim, quaint décor, little lights everywhere, candles. Adorable. It was a nice respite from the mariachi buffet at the hotel the night before, ha ha. The server was attentive, spoke perfect English, gave a fantastic pizza recommendation and had everything on the table within ten minutes. Seriously. They MUST have the house specialty pizza pre-prepped because it was lightning fast from brick oven to table. We ordered the Betuccini pizza with pepperoni, sausage, bacon and chimchurri(a purée of parsley, garlic and olive oil). It was shockingly good for pizza in Mexico! Who knew! $ 20 for a pizza, glass of wine and soft drink! Win! If I were to critique, I’d say the pizza sauce could be improved with some garlic, basil, oregano perhaps. And the pizza itself bordered(no pun intended) on a little too salty, but it could have just been the bacon. All in all a very nice little escape from the standard fare/ambiance available in Rosarito if you’re looking to change it up.

Really excited about finding this place! It’s great if you’re tired of Mexican or sea food around Rosarito. The atmosphere of the place is really quiet and the décor is nice. A bit dark but I’d prefer to call it romantic. It was pretty empty the day we went which was fine with us. Service was great, our waiter gave us recommendations and was very attentive of our table all the time we were there. It looks like they have plenty of room for big groups. We ordered a pizza which was delicious! Not a very creative menu but it sticks to the classics. Prices are not bad and servings are big. I would also recommend the house salad. Will definitively make it to my new favorite places.

Great atmosphere, good food. Had a great time with me sister, brother and 9 year old nephew on a Wednesday night. Only drawback is the service. Had to ask for a single glass of water 4 times before it came. They also charged me for a bottle of wine when I only had a glass. So watch your bill. But despite all that I will be back to give it a second chance.

Hmm, I don’t understand the poor ratings for service here at all. We ended up here by mistake and 15 minutes before they were officially open. A very polite gentleman asked us if he could help us and we said we were looking for a couple beers. He said there were no bartenders there yet but told us to hold on. He then went on to grab a couple cold beers for us and said we could pay once open. I kind of browsed the establishment and was told to go anywhere I wanted except the back as they were shooting a commercial. Ah and yes there was a beautiful model to adore back there and she and the film crew even waved to us. Second thing that caught my eye you ask? That wood fired pizza oven that was hot and ready. Soon the wonderful aroma struck and we quickly made the decision that lunch was in order. We ended up ordering the Betuccini’s special that consisted of pepperoni, sausage, bacon, basil and a type of dressing that I can’t remember what it was called. Ingredients were top notch. The bacon(that my compadre didn’t want on the pie) was scrumptious, very thick cut and high quality same for the sausage. The crust was thin and crisp. It was honestly one of the best pizzas I have ever had. Service you ask? I must have had a minimum of six employees ask me how my meal was, if I needed anything etc. Everyone spoke very good English and at least two employees spoke perfect English. A large pie and four beers for twenty-five bucks! Now that’s Amore! Honestly I can’t imagine someone not enjoying this place. This was my first time here but fortunately I spend an extended weekend at Plaza Del Mar(20 miles south and worth the drive back here) monthly and will definitely be back. I’m looking forward to trying the pasta dishes that smelled wonderful. We sat near the oven which is also the kitchen and I could see them filling orders of pasta, sautéed veggies etc. Trust me I don’t write a lot of reviews but this place impressed me. Arrivederci!

My wife and I took the kids down to Rosarito for 3 nights. After doing the Puerto Nuevo, El Nido and Tacos Yaqui(all great) thing we decided on trying something different. Looking for Italian Food, we were told by the staff at the Rosarito Beach Hotel to give Betuccini’s a try. It’s about a 5 minute walk south from the hotel. Upon arrival we new we were on to something special. Atmosphere is awesome and totally different then what you would expect from Italian in Rosarito. As for the food, we ordered half margarita/half cheese pizza, spaghetti, and pesto fettuccini with a bottle of wine, and 2 ice creams totaling $ 60. Both pasta dishes were amazing but the pizza was the best we have ever had. My 9 year old daughter asked the waiter what kind of cheese was on the pizza. The waiter replied mozzarella from Ensenada. We all agreed the best mozzarella cheese we have ever had. Overall a great experience for the whole family, from the service to the incredible food. We can’t wait to go back and bring some friends! Must try

On our last night in Baja and after several disappointing meals, we thought we’d get pizza to go. The place that was recommended is closed on Tuesdays, so we went to Bettucini’s. We ordered 2 margherita pizzas and two Medusa salads(mixed greens w onion, tomato, and cheese). They gave us an order of bread, too. We were so happy to finally have found good food. The crust was thin w the outer edges crunchy. Good sauce, too. The only downside was that the fresh basil was very skimpy. That said, the pizza was still delish. The salads were huge. One would have been enough for six adults. If you order takeout, ask for the dressing on the side. You might want to consider using your own dressing as the house version seemed to be nothing but oil . I didn’t try the bread but my compadres said it was good. Prices are reasonable. We paid $ 50, including tip, and had a few slices leftover. For taste alone, I’d give Bettucini’s pizza 4 stars, but the skimpy basil loses a point. The dressing being so bland and greasy was also a downer. I’d go back if I ever find myself in Rosarito again and want a safe bet.

The pizza and spaghetti were great but the service was pretty horrible. Pizza took too long to come out and by the time he brought napkins out, we were already done with our meal. Maybe tonight was not there best night… But I’d give the accordion player five stars! That guy has talent!

This is an good choice for dining in Playas de Rosarito. Lasagna is pretty good. Pizzas are made in a fire-brick oven and have pretty thin crust. The pizza is about 140 pesos, or about $ 11.00. They serve a variety of wines from the Valle de Guadalupe. The location is wrong on the Unilocal map. It is located on the southern edge of downtown Playas de Rosarito next to Rene’s Sports Bar.
