Such an amazing find. Walking around downtown starving looking for a brunch spot. Nothing was appealing to us. I decided to walk down the side street and once I saw this place I knew it was a must try. Very cool old school interior with lots of rock and tile. They have a fresh juice bar as soon as you walk in. Love the dark and rustic interior. The back patio is beautiful. Was a little crowded for our preference at the moment so we dined inside. I ordered the rancho machaca and lemonade. Salsa and chips come out first. Some incredible heat in their salsa. Love the earthier tasting fresh chips. Plate comes out and it looks great. Even tasted better. Tortillas were fresh and delicious. Perfect for sopping up all the rancho sauce. Beans and rice were incredible. I get great Mexican food in San Diego, but this place is so above and beyond on the basics. Can’t think of a better option for breakfast in Rosarito. Great women running this place and a great experience. If I’m in town again, I’ll be back here in a heart beat.
