This is a great little taco and quesadilla joint that is fun and off the beaten path. The servers and owners take pride in the establishment and their food. The drinks are top quality. I really enjoyed the 13(!) different condiments/salsas that were presented with the meal. My favorites were the pickled habenero carrots and the pickled potatoes with onions.

Cutest little hold in the walk, but I loved it and the atmosphere. Tacos authentic and the steak and blossom quesadilla must try, but the bean soup pretty bomb. The Paloma… On my 3rd so refreshing. Must come for cheap… good food and service very nice

Vaya! The queso fundido was increible, de verdad. The service was also very good. The big thing to remember is that they don’t accept credit cards. The salsas that were left on the table were all good, although be careful of the mole as it is very picante. The rest are not so much. There were six of us and we ate a huge meal for $ 35! Wow!

A must in San Jose Del Cabo. Great little authentic place in the old town part of the town. Flank steak tacos are the bomb. Be warned that most of the condiments on the table will turn gringos bright red and light up your mouth. You have been warned… Go and enjoy!

Excelente! The best restaurant we went to in he whole Los Cabos area! Great service and food, plus atmosphere. Try the Abuelita, a rum and cucumber drink that is very refreshing. Also, the queso fundido is very good and enough for two. All this for under $ 100 for eight people… four adults and four teens(plus two drinks for each adult). Highly recommended!

I would agree with the reviewer below, this is worth the entire trip. Tacos and quesadillas are exactly what I craved on this trip… tasty, authentic and priced just right. Old sewing machines for tables, plastic horses lit from the underbelly and a level of hospitality that makes you want to stay for hours.

Never thought this would be my favorite restaurant in SJDC, but is is. Great food, simple but creative, tasty, muy frio beers, great cocktails and a professional staff. Alex greeted us and got our names. After a few hours he still remembered even after being shuffled to the bar to mix up his tasty treats. I’m sure the place was wiped out by Oldie, however it looks tacky as ever with a fresh atmosphere. Rib taco, yes I said rib taco for $ 2. The grindiest taco I have ever had. Super yum. Definitely get the flank steak on a bed of melted jack cheese. Omg it’s too die for. Salsas and condiments galore. We need a place like this in the So. Bay of Los Angeles. Thanks Hangman’s for an amazing experience. Gracias

It’s worth a plane ticket to Cabo just to eat again at this restaurant. It’s been around for 30 years and they are packed every night, for good reason. The food is outstanding, the service is friendly and fast, and the quality is incredible especially considering the insanely cheap prices. At first glance it gives every impression of being a tourist trap – it’s got a cheesy cowboy theme, the walls and ceilings are decorated with old license plates, carousel horses, and other kitsch, and there are tourists eating there. But we tried it, and we LOVED it. First of all, when you sit down, before you’ve even ordered a thing, the table is already loaded with about 12 bowls of freshly made condiments like salsas, pickled carrots and red onions, pico de gallo, pineapple salsa, and my FAVORITE – potatoes. What?! Free potatoes! Free, perfectly cooked, lovely little potatoes seasoned with garlic and other goodness. So really, at this point, I’m ordering food just so we have a vehicle to try all the beautiful salsas and toppings. First we got the frijoles charros – a very humble sounding bean soup. Tried one bite, and quickly ordered a second bowl so we wouldn’t have to fight over it. The best $ 1.50 I ever spent. And yes we added potatoes to it because why wouldn’t you. And then we tried various tacos including the cochinita pibil(pork), adobada(pork with bacon!), arrachera(flank steak), as well as a few different quesadillas filled with chicken, squash blossoms, and roasted veggies, and they were all fantastic. And of course we loaded them up with all the great toppings including a few chunks of potatoes and we were doing the happy dance. Our family of four ate ourselves silly and including a couple beers and a bottle of juice I think the tab came out to under $ 20US dollars. We went back again, obviously.(Two out of four dinners on our short trip to Cabo.) BTW I think they are open for dinner only. Also there is often live music – we got an old man on a keyboard singing John Denver. Come on, does it get any better?! Just go. Eat. Be happy.
