Love this place! Hand-made margaritas and Mexican food better than Grandma used to make. Beautiful restaurant and ambiance! I’d dare to say it’s worth the drive up from Cabo San Lucas… so if you’re staying in San Jose del Cabo it’s worth the trip!

The concierge at our hotel recommended this restaurant to us and we were not disappointed. The waiter started us off with their tasty and unique signature mojito recipe with basil(instead of mint) and blueberries that he prepared at the table. I ordered the Chile en Nogada which was a unique blend of stew with fruits stuffed in a poblano chile. In addition to the food, the service was excellent. It is a great find.

This is great for Mexican food that is upscale and not too expensive. The bar is a pleasure. They make their own sangria mix, which has tomato and spice as well as the sweeter notes in it. Good flank steak cooked almost rare with great flavor. The fabulous chiles nogados regale your nose and palate with delightful sweet and savory notes and are beautiful topped with pomegranate seeds. I think that is the stand-out dish. A very nice atmosphere and a pleasure to visit. I think it is a great value. I want to rate this and Don Sanchez both 5 stars, but in reality this is 4.5 so it gets a 4 to distinguish it from Don Sanchez, though I would consider both of them«must dines» in San Jose del Cabo.
