Outstanding selection of tacos… Guava Margarita is refreshing… Some English speaking waiters… they will clearly tell of what is in each type of taco

Highlight food our short stay in san miguel, their salsas are awesome i actually just recommended it to a friend who is going, try the vegetarian tacos with crusty cheese you will fall in love with it and the mezcal sweet drink as well

Super delish, very fresh, plenty of healthy choices. Some staff fluent in English, others speak enough to make it all work out easily. Try the guac with spirulina for a tasty treat.

Great place, small, casual, nice ambience, but most of all great food. Azteca soup (tortilla soup as we would call it) was very, very good. My wife’s quinoa salad was fresh and attractive, but a little short on taste. My taco, portabello mushrooms, goat cheese and a pasilla chili was one of the best tacos I have ever had.
Very good wait staff also.

Cuando mi amigo me dijo que tenía un restaurante en SMA no sabía que esperar exactamente pero vaya sorpresa me lleve con sus tacos gourmet. La mayoría tienen chile, cosa que no tolero, así que probé uno bañado en tequila, buenisimo! Además de la ambientación del lugar y la atención destacó también su cockteleria y lo cerca y fácil de llegar desde el centro de la ciudad.

Lo descubrí caminando en San Miguel, tenía ganas de una barra para entrarle al Bourbon.
No había.
Pero encontré los mejores tacos Gourmet que he probado.
En mi consejo recomiendo ya un taco.
Lo que quiero decir aquí es que lo único malo que tiene este lugar es el nombre que le queda muy pero muy corto a las delicias que manejan.

I had mushroom/​relleno and the don taco tequila taco. the chorizo was good too. they lay 5 different sauces on you — we got avocado/​crème, verde, habernero, morita and house blend. could have made a meal of the chips and salsa. my guava marg was fresh. service was friendly, attentive, informative. I’d go right now if I could.

This restaurant is an experience. From the delectable margaritas to the delicious food. Excellent service too.

Can’t get enough of this place. The jalapeño taco is out of this world. Chicken taco was way over salted but flavor was still good. Will definitely go back a third time.

Soy amante de los tacos, en todas sus presentaciones. Aquí en San Miguel hay varios lugares donde uno puede comer tacos, pero en general son puestos que se ponen en la noche. Hace poco que este problema de la hora se solucionó cuando abrieron Don Tacos Tequila.
El restaurante está muy padre por dentro, el concepto me gusta mucho. Los tacos son ricos pero definitivamente las fajitas y las papas de pastor. Ahora, a parte de los tacos en sus diversas presentaciones, una de las cosas que me encantaron en este lugar son las bebidas… Son deliciosas. Mi favorita es DTT Diabla y el Pepino Gin.
La atención es muy buena, se come y bebe rico. ¿No comes carne pero tus amigos o pareja quiere venir? No hay problema, hay tacos vegetarianos que también están muy buenos.

Me gusto comer aquí, lugar muy agradable y limpio, pero lo que más disfrute… el café de olla que preparan aquí, ¡delicioso! De entrada pedimos un guacamole, está muy bueno, y bueno aquí la especialidad son los tacos, así que nos recomendaron probar el ‘Don Taco Tequila’ es un taco con Rib eye flameado con tequila, cebolla caramelizada, un poco de ajo y queso, todo esto en una tortilla de harina. También tienen los típicos tacos con un toque de la casa, hay hasta vegetarianos, gringas, burros, papas y fajitas. Si andas de antojo prueba los potres, tienen un pay de aguacate, sería bueno probarlo.

Ya he escrito en otras reseñas mi opinión sobre los tacos, pero como no están obligados a leerme toda, lo repito: para mi los tacos deben comerse en la calle, en un carrito callejero, de pie, sacando la pompa en cada bocado para evitar mancharse, o si es en un local las mesas deben ser de la corona o coca cola para que el sabor del taco sea extremo. Pero no soy ortodoxa con mi filosofía taquera, me he topado con algunos restaurantes bonitos de tacos que valen dejar a un lado mis principios.
Don Taco Tequila apareció recientemente en el pueblo y está siendo un hitazo. La decoración está padre, muy hipsteriana.
Las margaritas de Jamaica están buenísimas, tienen café de olla y cerveza echa en San Miguel. Tienen variedad en las salsas y todas están ricas, aunque no las hacen muy picosas, seguramente porque van muchos norteamericanos. Los platillos son innovadores y hay de donde escoger, incluso hay varias opciones vegetarianas. Rico.
Cuidado pues los precios no incluyen IVA lo cual esta raro y no me encantó recibir esa sorpresita al final.

Had a great meal there last night.
Food is excellent and very fresh. Staff very pleasant and some speak English which was a plus for us. The hibiscus margarita is great with chili and salt on the rim so be prepared.
Loves the vegetable quesadilla. The bar looks great but if designed right would offer more areas to eat at. We did not notice on the menu that the taco my husband ordered had nuts in it. He is highly allergic but saw the nuts before he ate it. The nuts were mentioned in Spanish on the menu but the waiter took it away and did not charge is which was very nice.

We went here because it was recommended by the concierge at our hotel. As soon as we poked our heads in the door we love the vibe and the décor. We were impressed with the food and the cocktails. We had several of the tacos in which the Don tacos were the best. It was also nice that they had vegetarian options which were very delicious as well. We recommend the guava margarita with warm salt which was our favorite margarita in town. And we have had a lot of margaritas. The service was super friendly and helpful with English as well. We will be going back tonight as are closer before we leave San Miguel. Great spot!

If you’re looking for exceedingly average food and the worst service you’ll ever have at any restaurant in your life then this is the place to go!

I eat here quite often, in fact I go so often that the owner has become a friend of mine. Before you say I’m biased I should say I never lie about food and the food here is great!
It used to be mediocre and I think the owner knew it and made a change. He upgraded the look, changed the hours around and substantially upgraded the food.
I love the baked potato with chorizo or el pastor. They also have some great drinks and the salsas are top notch and made from scratch.
I highly recommend trying the tequila salsa, it’s sooo good. If your in the area and your in the mood for some great food, I highly recommend the place I now call Don T’s.

Stumbled into this place for a late dinner and it was amazing! Delicuous mixed drinks, tasty tacos and reasonable prices. The server was super sweet and helpfuland the décor was very hip.

great tacos! their menu is not extensive and beside the platios (meaning plates complete with sides) you can order tacos a la carte. I hade the chicken taco and the ribeye taco. both delicious and creative. not traditional, it is gourmet.
we each had 2 tacos and 2 beers each and out bill was like $ 30 USD. we would go again! we did not try the tequilas there but tequila to sip is offered as well. all local tequilas.

This is an excellent inexpensive restaurant in centro. Great Mexican food with a twist. The best service and wonderful owners.
