Toros Place

Extremely friendly service. We arrived early morning so of course only ordered Margaritas, salsa and guacamole, lol, which were delicious! Chips are flour tortillas instead for corn, not sure if the latter could be ordered or not… Enjoyed the second story view of the beautiful water, cool breeze and cruise ships, and again, the staff were all super nice and attentive!

Great view, friendly people, absolutely a tourist bar/​restaurant, Americanized food. Stopped in here to help shake my hangover. No locals seem to eat here and prices are all in American dollars. This makes sense since it is down the street from the port. The food is ok. I would recommend the fajitas. Probably would opt out if I wasn’t in desperate need of a refreshing beverage.

We dropped by Toro’s Place last night and they were great. Fast, reasonable prices, great service, food was good, and the view of the water front is pretty nice too. We got there just before closing and tho they were out of chicken at the end of the day, the waiter let us know that as he was handing us the menus. guac was terrific, burritos and tacos were excellent. we sat there talking with a friend we’d met on a diveboat for a good 90 minutes, and no one ever came over to tell us to move on

View is great, food is good. My veggie burrito was basically a veggie wrap, no rice, beans, cheese, or guac. There was a bean dip on the side though. They were out of guac today so maybe it’d be better another day. What I did eat was tasty, just not what I expected

A restaurant/​bar featuring a covered balcony with great views of the water. It is situated on the main strip in Cozumel. The food is so-​so. My shrimp cocktail was basically tomato juice, Tapatio, chopped onions, and smallish shrimp ($ 10). My husband’s soft tacos were good. He didn’t try the beef, which is apparently their specialty. He liked the grilled fish one the best. Guac and chips are good. The salsa was horrible — bland, warm tomato sauce. Beer is $ 2.50. There are numerous male waiters, but the service is not good. It’s basically the «order and deliver» style of service… and then ask for the check if you can wave them down.
