The best restaurant I went while in Sayulita. Real authentic Mexican food. We ordered the Chile Relleno of course, both meat and shrimp and they were the best I’ve ever had. Then the Molcajete Azteca, a combination of meats all blended in a sauce of 20 different chiles, I cannot explain the flavor of this dish with words. Finally the chicken mole was really good as well, an excellent combination of sweet and salty. Staff is very attentive, and we even got to met the owner and chef, a guy with real passion for food and experimenting new flavors. Definitely loved this place!

Fresh and quality food, awesome drinks, professional and attentive staff! We came here on our first night we arrived. It was a New Year Eve and the place was packed, however the service was exceptional and fast. The food arrived timely and was very fresh and flavorful. This place set a very high standard for all of our future sayulita food experiences. We returned here again before we left and the food and service was great as well!

Great food, fun vibe and wonderful wait staff! Our group of 7 was treated royally by Thomas and we all loved our dinner-shrimp brochette, Chile relleno, and molcajete. The beef in the molcajete was out of this world.

We’ve been here on two different trips and it’s always a highlight. You have to order the chicken mole and the chile relleno. Both are excellent and the best we had on our trip. The guacamole and chips and the mussels were a pass. We even had a guitarist come by to serenade us.

Second best grub we had in Sayulita. I had the Chile rellano plate, a chicken and beef — bangin. The misses had the mixed platter and it was also amazing. My buddy had the beef fajitas and we all agreed they were the best we ever had. Probably the best Mexican food I have ever had. And believe me, I know my Mexican food. This place is the bomb. Ya feel me ??

We had one of our best meals of the trip here — the mole was fantastic, as was the carne asada. Service was extremely friendly, charming our kids. The wine my wife got wasn’t half bad either, probably the best glass we had in town. We would definitely make this a stop on any future trip to Sayulita.

Every evening we walked by this place seemed to be full of happy people enjoying their meals and their lives, so eventually we tried it too. The food was quite good — another excellent rendition of a chile relleno, and a massive rendition of the mocajete, essentially a giant stone mortar filled with a mixed grill of beef, chicken, sausage, cheese, and vegetables and sitting in a flavorful sauce. It wasn’t as good as the mocajete I’ve been dreaming about for the last five years(from Cheen Huaye, in a strip mall in northern Miami) but it was still very satisfying. So all in all, we found ourselves part of the crowd of happy people, but I did find myself thinking that for half the price we could have made our third trip in 48 hours to El Itacate. ..

The chili relleno is the best I have ever had. I would have eaten more of it had my little wife not taken it away from me. Three of the locals suggested this place as just solid Mexican food. Great meal, cheap and I have nothing I did not like. They were very busy the night we were in but took good care of us. We will be back on the next trip for sure.
