I am loving the New Hyatt Corporation. This is the second Hyatt Hotel I stayed at and absolutely love it. The corporation outdid themselves with very new, clean hotels at a very affordable price range (so far… lol).
The design and décor are almost exactly alike at the one I stayed at by L.A.X. and the one here in TJ, Mexico.
I love coming over the border and driving over the coast and have stayed in Puerto Nuevo, Rosarito, and Ensenada so we are away from the city and close to the beach. But unfortunately the hotels out there are usually old and run down even if it is a 4 or 5 stars hotel. I am a hotel snob and do need to feel safe, comfortable, and clean at one.
Hyatt is comfortable, clean, chic, and stylish place to stay at. The room has a small living room area with a long couch and coffee table for your relaxation and an office work space with a table and chair. Towards the back is a separate sleeping area with the comfy bed.
They have free Wi-​Fi and an office area in the lobby with computers and printer. They also have a cocktail/​coffee bar/​kitchen dining area in the lobby and in the morning it includes free continental breakfast at the kitchen.
The hotel is located on Agua Caliente Blvd. (which is a busy city street) 10 minutes from the border and walking distance to a wide variety of restaurants and shopping. We felt safe at night and definitely very cozy, comfortable, and relaxed which is the main purpose of our trip.

We had a good time staying in this Hyatt. The room was super clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was really good as well. I was pretty disappointed that there was no pool. Usually Hyatts have pools so I came expecting one and was bummed. Also, there was construction in the hotel room next door and below at the street. The traffic gets pretty loud in the morning if you’re on the mall side. It just felt like there was always noise. Lastly it’s kinda weird that there is only one way out. No side doors or additional entrances, just the main front door. Loved the secure, free parking downstairs and the speedy elevators!

This place is so nice (especially for being in Tijuana). I was shocked. Very nice lobby. There is a bar/​Starbucks with tables and a street view. Rooms are spacious and clean, couch with sitting area, flat screen T.V., very clean. Friendly front desk staff that spoke English well. Only negative was the aggressive housekeeping staff that wanted to clean the room before the 12:00 check-​out.

I absolutely loved this hotel. It’s definitely a hidden gem in TJ. It’s just around the corner form a food mall and right next door to a supermarket. The rooms are nice and spacious. It had a nice couch that also had an extra throw and pillows, just a few nice little touches like that really gave this place that cozy feeling. The staff was nice and informative, also spoke English which was a major plus. The room also comes with a free hot continental breakfast with some really nice options, it’s more close to a breakfast buffet than anything. They had taxi’s on standby so we could leave and go around town whenever we wanted to. I will definitely be staying there again in next visit to TJ.

PROS: Great & friendly service, awesome buffet breakfast included with stay, free wi-​fi, comfortable large rooms, loved the modern shower fixture, nice gym, safe and central location, value.
CONS: A little noisy due to construction, NO SWIMMING POOL, parking is a little tight, didn’t care for the modern sliding glass door to the bathroom (no privacy… lol)

I love this Hotel but was very disappointed this time around! One of the staff members (I think his name is Erick) had his chonies in a bunch because his girlfriend dumped him (that’s what I heard from other staff) so he was rude and unfriendly!
LEAVE YOUR PERSONAL PROBLEMS AT HOME!!! Customers do NOT deserve to be treated coldly because you got dumped!
Going again soon and I think I might NOT stay there because the last time I felt uncomfortable with my stay because Erick kept mad-​dogging me and my friends when I complained about his attitude!
