Très bon rapport qualité /prix ! Le service est très chaleureux et les produits de la mer frais ! Ambiance simple, sans chichi. Je recommande :)

amazing seafood and service! this is conveniently located on the Main Street and merits a visit. we ordered the parrillada de Mariscos for two and it was definitely enough food for 3 – 4. we only ordered fish and shrimp(no octopus or calamari) and it was still plenty.

Very short wait for a streetside table. All open air and all pescado all the time. Completely full and service was on point. Travelers should remember things happen a little slower here. Don’t get pissed cause it takes 20 min for your food to deliver. Soak in the local; learn a few new words; people watch and enjoy your vacation! Mixed Ceviche is atomic. Over half of the Grande went home with me. Great seafood in Tulum. Local approved.

This was recommended by locals but I was not impressed. I ordered the shrimp cocktail and the cocktail sauce was sweet, the guacamole was so so and the chips were stale. Most local seafood places don’t actually have fresh fish although I hear the ceviche here is pretty good but El Commel is better overall. However, if you are looking for a truly amazing fresh local fish experience, I highly recommend ELPEZNATIVO just a few block up on the same side of the main street right next to the ice cream place called CampNella? El Pez Nativo has the best fresh fish I have ever had and the Italian couple who own it catch the fish fresh here in Tulum every morning! You will be blown away!

I definitely recommend eating at Barracuda if you’re ever visiting Tulum. We asked our cab driver where a good place locals go to eat fresh Mexican-style dishes, and he said that if we wanted fresh seafood Mexican dishes, to go here. The only reason I didn’t give it a 5-star rating was because it doesn’t look like much on the outside, but do not be fooled. The margarita was delicious and packed a punch, but the tequila sunrise was nothing special. There were four of us total, and we got the fish ceviche to share, along with guacamole, all three different types of tacos(fish, calamari, and shrimp Diavola), and an order of the chicken fajitas. All dishes are highly recommended. The fajitas don’t come with tortillas(unless our server just forgot to give them to us), and the dish taco was by far my favorite of the three. Every dish we ordered came with a side of guacamole, so we kind of wish the waiter would have told us this before we ordered a side of it, but it was so delicious we ate it all up. The ceviche was the consensus best dish by all four of us, and is the best tasting, most delicious(and freshest) ceviche any of us have ever had. All around a great experience!

Horrible service, waiter had horrible attitude, most of the stuff was not sold from the menu! I was told this was a good to eat but I regret coming here! Good was not even that good I recommend you stay away and go in front of here to Camello!

Craziest dinner ever. After waiting 45 minutes for my food to come out one finally did. After that person finished eating another came out, so our 3rd person still had no food an hour later. Server said they were really busy and understaffed. Ok, so use less tables so your customers can get quality service. Needless to say after n hour we pod for what we ate and left before the 3rd item came out.: / Bad service and bad food. They didn’t even have fish ceviche or lobster available as they ran out. My piña colada was horrible and had no alcohol in it and was watered down.

The overall aesthetic of the restaurant downplays the overall amazing food contained inside. We walked in on the suggestion of Suzy, our concierge at Nueva Vida de Ramiro. We started with some of the freshest fish ceviche I’ve ever had. It was made with white fish, lime juice, onion and tomato. Then we followed it up with their homemade guacamole and chips with salsa. We were also gifted with a free shrimp broth soup that had just the right amount of briney tang. If you and your companions can each get a different sort of taco, go for it. I had the grilled fish tacos, best friend had the garlic calamari tacos and her husband ordered the shrimp diavola. This provided us with the best opportunity to mix and match tacos. My boyfriend had a delicious chicken fajita platter which is perfect for those wary of seafood. Overall, the experience was awesome, service was friendly and the prices low which is a winning combination. Go for the food. And stay for the love mariachi band and warm hospitality.

This is a solid, solid marisqueria. The ceviche is bar none the best I’ve had. Not overly lime-y, seasoned just enough to lift the seafood. The pulpo and langosta are better elsewhere in Tulum as they have a tendency to overcook them in my experience, but they score high marks for their shrimp and fish dishes. The ceviche is so good you won’t really be too interested in anything else anyway. My recommendation is get your table a big ceviche, and then finish with parillada. Service was excellent, the waiter always knew exactly where we were in the meal, and nothing came too soon or too late, and no one waited for a drink. Outstanding, drag yourself away from the seafood joints that rank higher and go eat here with the locals. You won’t regret it.

Their parilladas de mariscos were 290 pesos for a huge calamari, camaron, pescado, and pulpo platter. It was so fresh and affordable that my partner and I came back for a second meal on our last night in Tulum. Attentive service and a great mix of different salsas and beers to choose from as well.

Their ceviche mixto is the best I’ve ever had! I would say the best seafood in Tulum hands down. My brother loves going there and taking any new people that are visiting Tulum. Highly recommended!

Excellent value but mixed feelings about food. We had the pulpo and mixto cerviche, fried fresh snapper, and fillet of fish a la plancha(grilled). Portions were big. The cerviche(a little too much vinegar and tomatoes) and snapper(slightly overcooked) execution were good but not excellent. The fillet of fish was flavorful and moist. I would rate it excellent. Wait staff polite and attentive. If I were in Tulum again, I would like to give this place another try. Not touristy. We were the only non-locals eating and the restaurant was fairly full. I saw quite a few diners eating the seafood stew? I would like to try that next time.

Decent fish with an exotic twist. Their cerviches are delicious, especially the shrimps. Fresh and full. This is where locals have seafood. Any order comes with salad and a ball of red rice. Recommended especially after a long day at the beach.

Good quality, fresh products, fair prices. Enjoyed lunch there and had a fried fresh fish. It came with rice and salat. Price was around 100 pesos. As an entry they served nachos with different sauces. I also ordered guacamole which was really good. It’s not a chef location but you’ll get good Mexican food for fair money. I keep this in mind giving the 4 stars for food. Service was fast and friendly and the server even showed me the fresh fish before preparing it! Location is medium since it is located downtown right next to the main street. Lots of noise and cars passing. Nothing to become romantic about. 1 star less for the location. Therefore, the quality to price ratio is really good!
