Practice rooms are really just boxes with electricity and fluff on the walls, but as far as fluffy electric boxes go these ones are pretty good. There are four rooms available, each with its own P.A., and a drum kit is available to hire for the session. Make sure you book because it can fill up fast. George is as genial and helpful a host as you could hope for, and is a musician himself so he knows what the whole situation involves. If I had to be critical I could say some of the practice rooms lack a bit of atmosphere, fluorescent lighting not being that conducive to creative jamming. But you could always take your own lamps or something if you were really worried and really, if you can’t play your instruments without mood lighting then you can’t play your instruments full stop.
