Amanda 4 Flowerz is a place most people have probably driven past at some stage, it is in an open, but obscure location surrounded by houses.
They have a small range or ready made boquets and a variety of colourful decorative flowers and greenery to chose from to make up your own selection. Quite expensive either way.
I picked up some astromera’s for $ 3 per stem, along with some greenery for 50c per stem (that may not sound like much, but you would need a whole handful to get a bunch worth). The lady was friendly, chatty in a quiet way.
I would go back if it wasn’t for the fact I already have a favourite florist, a wholesalers in New Lynn, plus a silly lil’ thing bugs me about this place — the name, modern twists on names, grrrrrr…
